This was my first time here & immediately when I walked in with my friend, we were greeted right away. The restaurant is spacious with high top & regular tables. My friend ordered birria tacos with consome & I ordered 1 birria taco+2 carne asada tacos+fountain drink which came out to around $15. We both felt like the birria taco had no flavor or seasonings even when dipping into their consome soup. All of my tacos were wrapped on one side of it in a white paper which was hard to pickup my taco w/o spilling insides out. My carne asada tacos weren't that great honestly lack of seasoning & flavor are my big factors. The meat wasn't cut small like there were big chunk pieces lol never had tacos like these before. I was super excited to see that they opened a storefront and the food tastes just as amazing as the truck! We get the birria tacos of course and my go to are the queso tacos; the cheese and birria combination is unbeatable and this is my favorite spot that I've tried. It's super flavorful and not super greasy compared to other places. They also include a generous amount of meat in their consommé. The horchata is also fantastic especially with the tacos and not chalky at all. There is plenty of seating available with tvs playing sports games and the news. I was really excited to try this place, especially for the torta ahogada and birria tacos, but it ended up being a big disappointment. The birria tacos had little to no flavor and weren't crispy like they're supposed to be so, they were pretty underwhelming overall. The torta ahogada was also a letdown because it was way too soggy by the time it got to the table, and the flavor wasn't really there. Definitely not like the authentic stuff. I used to head to Tijuana often just for the bomb el pastor tacos. Soooo, I love me my Mexican food. Inside was pretty clean and spacious. I liked that. It didn't look unkept by any means. The service was excellent bc it was fast. Lol I totally forgot pictures, but next time. I often come down this area so I'll be eating here too. I got the birria burrito, but it was kinda dry. This place has up close parking and a private lot. They also do offer a drive thru This is one of those places where you order up at the counter, pay and then they bring the food to you. The staff was very friendly and inviting We ordered two found drinks Chips and salsa Birria ramen Fried Birria tacos (no onion or cilantro) The rice was sooooo fluffy and delicious The ramen birria was so good and not overly salty They have a lot of indoor seating. Just your regular run of the mill tables with metal chairs When you are finish you take your tray up and put your dishes away by the garbage The service was great Food was great I love the fact they had a drive thru Bathroom was huge and clean (one person bathroom) I was also eyeballing someone's sandwich. I don't usually go for asada as a protein option but it was definitely my favorite of the three because meat was smoky and juicy. I did not order the consome for my birria but the meat already soaked in so much of the broth that you can get away with not ordering the consome, but order it if you can!
