If you want a divorce that becomes highly contentious, expensive, and dragged out, I would…read morerecommend hiring ms A Agyepong My experience with her was extremely negative and unprofessional. My exs Legal costs were nearly tripple what mine were and he ultimately did not receive much of what he asked for. When I questioned the large discrepancy in legal bills, the explanation I received felt dismissive and did not address the issue in a meaningful way. She said she was billing him to help deal with his anxiety.... Legal? I'm not the lawyer. Beyond the cost, the approach to the case was frustrating. She appeared to escalate disagreements and argue points that (based on outcomes and what was ultimately supported) did not seem productive. There were also instances where communication was poor and responses were delayed, often only arriving close to court dates. In my experience, it wasn't just "vigorous advocacy", it felt hostile and disrespectful. In direct proceedings, my ability to speak was undermined. I was repeatedly talked over, mocked/scoffed at, and treated as if I was not credible, even when discussing issues that mattered, like our children. The impact ms Agyepong on our co-parenting relationship has been significant. Our ability to cooperate was already strained, but her constant contention and disrespect made it much worse. Financially, the disparity between the early proposal and what later became the final outcome was also alarming. Their first offer was such a low call that he court ordered him to pay THREE TIMES the initial offer. I felt like I was constantly having to review details closely, down to wording, because small edits she would add seemed to matter, and inconsistencies were hard to catch without staying up late rereading documents. Overall, I don't believe either side benefited from her strategy. My ex is in massive debt because his legal fees. Triple what I paid in legal fees. If you're considering her, my advice is to do thorough research and consider alternatives. I hope my experience helps others avoid the same situation because the real cost here wasn't only legal fees, but the damage done to co-parenting and long-term stability financially and personally. Do yourself a favor, find someone who isn't new and trying to prove themselves. She racked in some money for her new law firm that's a positive (for them) ** my ex said they got Him because they had the lowest retainer. Jokes on him $$$$$
