Paid an exorbitant price to fix a roof leak after the last hurricane. According to the owner…read more(Jamie) their roofing company took pride in their service, response, and quality of work - my experience would challenge all three of her claims. Perhaps the most egregious problem was the replacement shingles used for the repairs (a section approx 30'x20'). Not only didn't the shingles match - they were a completely different color ( the shingles on the roof are GAF Timberline shades of black - her replacement shingles (according to her husband a co-owner) are not GAF but another brand that are bluish gray. We were never shown these replacements until the job was finished - her excuse they do not make my color of shingles. So I checked with a GAF REP who informed that yes not only fid they still make my shingles but GAF has six different shades of black in the Timberline style. I feel quite strongly that she emptied out her roofing yard on us rather than pay for the correct shingles. The final straw, she said the new shingles would fade to match - highly doubtful that black shingles will fade to blue. - that would be some miracle and to add insult to injury her husband tried two or three different excuses until he finally just said "well you will just have to live with them cause I am not tearing them off". Gee another satisfied customer!! Word to the wise, I would avoid this roofing contractor at all costs. Don Josi

The knowledge, experience, and integrity they and their GAF-certified crew bring lays to waste the adage that 'everyone experiences at least one bad roofer in their lifetime.' We no longer have to with Whipple Roofing. Stan is always (!) one text, email, or phone call away (which is more than I can say about my insurance company regarding my April 26 hail storm claim). I told a Liberty Mutual manager it's embarrassing when the roofer becomes your source of policy information and not your insurance company. Yet also your gift as Stan is more than willing, and capable to kindly, and with great patience walk you through this confusing and challenging process. In the end, yours is an aesthetically and structurally superb roof covered by a consumer-oriented contract and warranty that I suspect is superior to this area. Also, as Stan says they aren't going anywhere (even my last roofer, Home Depot, has quietly folded their roofing division). I believe him and am thankful to the Lord they aren't.
