They did ok moving my stuff over the problem came when I asked them to build a bed. They refused to compensate me for this and said that I needed a special tool for the job when the bed came with a Allen key they stripped the screws using power tools. I'm very disappointed in their work because if they couldn't build the bed they shouldn't of said they could.

We used Fisher North American this past weekend for packing and moving locally from a 3BR house to…read morea 1BR apartment. Thursday was packing day, and a crew of three arrived precisely on time and packed up our house incredibly quickly and efficiently. Friday was the actual move, and the crew was again punctual and efficient. They arrived around 9am and by 11:30am we were fully moved and unpacking. We did a virtual walkthrough a couple weeks prior to the move so they could give me a ballpark estimate, and the final price wound up being about $30 under the estimate; pretty damn close. The best endorsement I can offer: I had a remote meeting Friday morning as the moving started which I took in the backyard so I was out of the way. I kept seeing my husband wandering around out of the corner of my eye, so I muted my audio to see what was wrong. His response? "I'm bored. There isn't anything for me to do, they're just taking care of everything." They really went above and beyond -- helped bring a bulky arcade cabinet that we weren't moving up to the garage from the basement, and even assisted with arranging the placement of rugs in the apartment so they were sorted out before piling on furniture and boxes. When we got settled and unpacked in the new place we found not a single thing was broken or damaged. I was impressed that beyond their obvious competence everyone was extremely friendly and easy to work with. I would unhesitatingly recommend them to anyone looking for a painless moving experience.

Our experience was similar...damaged items, items left in the home for us to move, no blankets used, items packed poorly into the truck, dings and scratches on items, walls, floors. About a million excuses as to why it's not their fault! Gotta love when a business like this can't own up to sucking at their job. We found the cost to be exceptionally high for the service that was offered. The worst part is we only moved 200 meters door to door and they still managed to make a mess of the move. I did ask for them to rectify the issues by email pointing out all the problems I saw with their service, only to have the owner go through and completely deny, deflect, and take no ownership for anything...including the extra load and a half left at the house. Said they'd be happy to come and remove it...at a cost of course! I'm a licensed real estate agent and close on 50 plus properties a year. You can 110% guarantee that I will NEVER recommend this company to help my clients and will be sure to share my experience with anyone who mentions hiring a mover. Really wish I rented a truck at UHaul for $29.99 and paid some friends and colleagues to help us make the move. It would have been done cheaper, faster, and a million times better. Lesson learned...thanks Mighty Movers!!!

If I could have picked 0 stars that's what I would have done…read more We called and were quoted a price for the amount of stuff we had. We were moving from a 3bed apartment to a house. Naturally you would think they'd bring their biggest truck. But no they brought their smallest truck. They also knew they were going to a secondary location to pick up additional items. They came into the apartment and looked around a bit and decided right away it all wouldn't fit and they would need to make 2/3 trips. So they "filled" or what they called filled the small truck. There was so much empty space left. They drove across town about 5km to our house and unloaded the first load of only furniture. They were not gentle with our items while they knocked furniture against our walls. They left our house when they were done unloading everything to go to our secondary location; 1km away from the house. They moved items from that garage straight into our garage and basically charged the same amount for 1/3 of the truck "full" as they called it. We got back to our apartment where we still had 1/2 and apartment to empty; furniture and ALL our boxes! We called to tell them what a horrible experience it was and how much stuff was left. They offered to return in a few days (because it was the weekend) to finish the job but it was still going to cost us to finish the job. We ended up renting a Uhaul truck and finishing the job ourselves. To add to it, the movers also scratched the brand new floors in the apartment and they were on their cell phones majority of the time. Our landlord at the apartment also told us that she saw them doing a lot more of nothing than moving. This was extra frustrating knowing how much time they wasted getting the job done and getting paid ridiculous dollars for it. These movers were extremely lazy, don't care about what they are doing and we would NEVER recommend them to anyone; even our worst enemy.
