As a bakers they of course do freshly baked bread which is of excellent quality, if you are willing to pay for it. They have a delicious selection of cakes and buns that should fit anyone's sweet tooth, I particulary recommend there doughnuts, some of the best you will ever taste! They also do a nice selection of warm and cold sandwiches and cobs. For my money, they offer better value and taste than a highstreet sandwich chain such as Subway. Price wise, they are very competitive with the big chains, on some items you may pay slightly more, but the quality is always worth it. They are a really friendly bunch in here and you will get proper service with a smile, not someone imperonally taking your order. It can get busy here at lunchtimes, as you would expect, but service is efficient and I have never waited more than 10 minutes to be served and have my order completed.

Then we found the scones were dry and the coffee pretty average. We expected more from a deli. We felt like we were camping out rather than giving ourselves a treat and having morning coffee and cake. The place looks delightful but is let down by its style. We will not be going to the deli again, especially as the cafe opposite uses cups and plates. So, if you don't mind you coffee in cardboard, your cake in, and on, a paper bag then this place would be fine for you .
