Everytime we have been there the place is buzzing with a good collection of locals, walkers and business people. They is ample seating outside, and is highly recommended for young families as there is a brilliant play area that includes pedal tractors and cars and a meet little race track to your kids to race around on while you enjoy you brew and a cake. There is also swings and a junior zip-wire to entertain them. The windmill is great and visitors can go up the spiral stairs all the way to the top. Running parallel to the coffee shop is a number of quaint little farm shops selling nick nacks and shabby chic items. On my last visit there was also a clothing shop. Lots of variety on the menu, but we had just missed the last orders for the breakfast type food, which ends at 11.30am. Nevertheless a great variety of other dishes on offer for lunch, from sandwiches, rolls and paninis to salads and jacket potatoes. We opted for the Club Sandwich, which came on toasted granary bread, absolutely delicious, the chicken and bacon were packed with flavour, and the lettuce and tomato, so fresh; the fresh coleslaw on the side, was a good accompaniment too. Each sandwich is made to order and it showed, best Club Sandwich I've had in a long time. The accompanying cappuccino and americano, were also good, strong and flavoursome without being too bitter.
