I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place. The owners are crooks! I had been a customer there for many years…read morefor PT and for massages. They had massage specials 3 or 4 times a year that stated buy 2 massages and get 1 free. I would buy them when they had the specials to get a free massage every so often. Their massage therapist quit in July of last year (2025) and then they moved in August to a new location and changed their name. I had purchased the special in June that they were running for Father's Day assuming they would hire a new massage therapist soon. Well apparently the new location in a strip mall had another massage business in that mall and had made an agreement with the landlord that no other business could have a massage therapist in the same strip mall. Therapy Works then decided that they would refund unused massage certificates to people who had them. They claimed they sent out an email saying this but myself and others I talked to never received the email. I found out about it by calling their business once or twice a month through December of 2025 and into January 2026. They kept telling me they were still interviewing until mid January and finally said they were refunding the unused certificates. I went there and filled out the form and turned in my certificates which came to $190. After 2 weeks went by and I hadn't received my refund yet I called to check on it and I got the run around by the receptionist. I called several times in the next 3 weeks and tried to get the office manager or the owner to call me back and to no avail. Only after threatening legal action did I get a call back k from the office manager who claimed she would talk to the billing department and let me know. I never got a call back so I called again the following week and was told the office manager was out of the office until next week. I kept getting the run around and finally after 6 weeks I got a call my check was ready. I went to pick it up and it was shorted $35! I told the receptionist that this is not the correct amount and I want to speak with the office manager. She was at lunch!! It was 3:00! I got a call 2 days later from the billing department and come to find out it was one of the owners. He told me he could refund however much he wanted to for refunds and he was prorating the 3 massages so they got something for the free one. I told him you cannot legally do that because you did not advertise them as prorated. In other words for example buy 3 90 minute massages for $190. That would be a prorated wording for it to be refunded as a prorated amount but they advertised it as buy 2 get 1 free. Also the letter they supposedly emailed out for the refunds did not say they would be refunded as prorated. I fought with him over and over and he said he would write me out a check then for $35. He wanted to meet me in person to give it to me and I didn't feel comfortable doing that do I asked him to put it in the mail. That was last Monday 6 days ago and I still don't have it. I don't believe he mailed it and is playing stall tactics. I told him to cancel the check if he really sent it out and I would come get it this Monday. He still has not responded to me. I also heard from previous employees that they are horrible people and did the same thing to them when trying to get their final paychecks and had to take them to small claims court which sounds like what I may have to do. The owners like I said are crooks!! Steer clear from this place!!

(Josh Lahr) spent time discussing the surgery before and time afterwards discussing the recovery. This review is late because, frankly, I couldn't believe my luck--no problems! I recovered quickly and as for pain, I've had more pain from root canals than from this surgery. I now have an appt. with Dr. Huston to assess the other hip. Would I recommend OrthoKansas and Dr. Huston? You betcha!! The place and Dr. Huston were a blessing!

I am actually not sure what to think of OrthoKansas. It is quite an unusual set-up for a medical…read moreoffice. Sitting in the waiting room, waiting for my appointment, I was reminded of a cattle drive. Yep, a cattle drive. TONS of people in the waiting room who were constantly being called back, shuffled, resurfaced and gone again. I fractured my fibula on my left ankle. My general practitioner suggested OK. It took them forever to schedule because the clerk never called me back. I had to be a public nuisance and leave a nasty gram on their Facebook page before they called me back. I was able to get an appointment, though, within a few days. This is a high volume outfit. I was told that some doctors only do wrists, other doctors only do ankles, and so forth. They could have forwarded my admission paperwork to me well ahead of my appointment. However, they did not offer that option and I was in too much discomfort to ask. So when I got there I had to spend about 20 minutes filling out the paperwork, balancing a clipboard precariously on my lap. It took over an hour to finally see a doctor. Waiting, waiting, waiting. The other people in the waiting room provided good people watching entertainment for me, though. I was actually getting very bored and worried about losing cell battery. No charging stations were available, either. When I was finally called back, I was taken for x-rays. Now I had just had a full set of x-rays two days before and they had those in my file. I was very curious why they had to take more x-rays 48 hours later. When I finally got into a room, I had one technician come in and examine me. Dr. Stull finally came in after.. more waiting. He was very pleasant and capable. He answered my questions and he had a good sense of humor. He showed me the x-rays and explained my injury. I liked him a great deal. The technician who put my cast on was very nice, too. She was helpful and she did a good job. The only thing I wished from her would be less diplomacy. This was new territory for me and I wanted her honest opinion about things. I asked questions like "Do most people get the waterproof cast?" and she gave me the standard "Some do but others don't" reply. I was truly wanting her input. She was quick and thorough and very nice, though. She even helped me to my car and I appreciate her kindness. I think they know what they are doing but it seems a bit impersonal with the high volume. They just seem too busy. You get the feeling you are a number and not a person. I liked everyone I met and they were very helpful, just hurried.
