They solved a problem I didn't expect to be solved: some rooms already had floor strips; I didn't think it and the new strips in the remaining rooms could be made to line up. Luke and Paul lined up the flooring to make it look like it had all been laid down in the same job. Beyond that, they work smoothly and efficiently. They don't look rushed, yet they don't waste time. I imagine Bay View's other crews are just as professional. But next time I call Bay View, I'll ask for Paul and Luke.

Coordinating with multiple rooms on multiple floors with demanding guests wanting to check-in is always stressful but CnC always works through it with us and stands behind their product. They recently did four of our rooms. The first day they were to install they couldn't make it due to one of their installers being sick. Months later we purchased more flooring to be installed a couple weeks later due to continuing other remodeling. . The salesman was miffed that we insisted on paying for the install later. We disputed their measurements for removal, install and material. They insisted that their "professional measurements" were correct - ours were not. We noted that a competitor's measurements coincided with ours - an architect and contractor. We were rightfully insulted by their rude comments. They were unaware that we were not paying for this work. The tenant was going to pay so accuracy was important to protect the tenant's limited resources. With reservations, and with assurance that the previous installers would do this install we proceeded. They sent the B team which were NOT the A team. As we anticipated there was extra flooring that was not required. As it was paid for, we took it since it had not been brought into the work space. They were very upset. We had inventoried the flooring delivered , did the math, to be sure it had been paid for. The owner Ron, sent a very rude letter REFUSING TO FINISH the work. The transitions sent but not installed were incorrect. They failed to clean up. Generally, they were UNETHICAL, RUDE, AND FAILED TO ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY. Poorly managed - don't take a chance.

If your buying plants make sure they are for our zone even if they…read moreare perennial. they have fig plants and roses that are not for your climate in this part of michigan. if your buying mulch go for it its fine. if your buying lumber enjoy the hours of picking through and a large project is not fun there because of the lack of quality. dont try to return something even with a receipt the return people question you like you are trying to pull a fast one. if you buy flower pots fine, if you buy fence posts fine. dont buy water sprinklers every one i bought puked out within one or two uses. not cheap ones either. if you want a delivery plan on paying an arm and a leg for it. i sent in a rebate for 300 got back 35.00 and i understand now they hide the rebate form amongst adds for windows. home depot is by far better to navigate i can bring up the store and the app and find exactly which isle my item is in. that is something Costco should do too, but that is not Menards. Menards employees are great that is about all they have going for them from what i can see. i am very choosey when buying there because many items are sub par ...hence the cheaper price. you get what you pay for.

As a contractor I need my orders as soon as possible . That never happens at menards. Order a simple sheet of countertop laminate and it takes 2 weeks . Home Depot I have it delivered to my door in 3 days . Just today another special order finally came in after a long wait to arrive. Tracked the order for 5 days it sat at the DC in Saginaw Mi. Cabinet parts came in . No boxes??? Cancelled the order for the cabinet boxes at that store . Made another order at the next closest store. Have to drive 60 miles North of me as they have them in stock .I buy alot of stuff from our local store ,as its conveniently located on my way in . But they really need to be better on there ordering system .
