“Justin and Ron were awesome to work with from the sale of the flooring through rescheduling the installation several times due to another contractor working at the house.”

Menards employees are great that is about all they have going for them from what i can see. i am very choosey when buying there because many items are sub par ...hence the cheaper price. you get what you pay for.

As a contractor I need my orders as soon as possible . That never happens at menards. Order a simple sheet of countertop laminate and it takes 2 weeks . Home Depot I have it delivered to my door in 3 days . Just today another special order finally came in after a long wait to arrive. Tracked the order for 5 days it sat at the DC in Saginaw Mi. Cabinet parts came in . No boxes??? Cancelled the order for the cabinet boxes at that store . Made another order at the next closest store. Have to drive 60 miles North of me as they have them in stock .I buy alot of stuff from our local store ,as its conveniently located on my way in . But they really need to be better on there ordering system .

I admit it: I was drawn to her table by a desire to swipe an Ace Handyman beer koozie. But then the representative (a mom, there with her gymnast daughter) and I talked about the challenges a 68 year old faces when trying to stay in his home. The plumbing I can't do because I'm not flexy enough to work under the sink. The rotted exterior wood that should be replaced by a better carpenter than me. The electrical work I'm not qualified to try in the first place. The rep convinced me that Ace Handyman can help. I'm gonna give 'em a try. If their people are as sharp as her, I'll be able to stay in my home longer than I would otherwise.

Along with the other buyer's agent, I met with Bruce Clous and his selling agent. I was very impressed with how he does business, the streamline process and the one stop shop technique where the client picks out all finishes in his showroom. It eliminates driving around and meeting salespeople to pick out finishes. These days it's hard to even find an employee in the store! Seeing how Eastwoods stress free process would make the building process a joy was refreshing. Bruce was very personable and clearly want happy customers.

Several builders refused to take the job because of the perceived liability. The Eastwood team inspected all the work that had been done and unfortunately found that the majority of the work including siding, framing, windows and roof had been installed incorrectly. They immediately got started on the repairs and with almost daily contact have fixed everything and now are continuing to the interior. Bills many years of experience have allowed him to find many problems with my design and make the necessary adjustments saving me from long term problems and expenses down the line. The vertical integration of Eastwood's companies especially the home store where I bought all my interior trims and fittings saved me a lot of time, money and frustration. I cannot say enough positive things about my experience. It can be a daunting task to find a good home builder so if your looking for a HONEST and experienced builder, Eastwood could be your builder.
