El Mirador was perched on a cliff to our right tempting us as we swam, so as we were finished with the beach for the day we decided to enjoy a late lunch there. The food was wonderful - I had the Menorca cod with peppers and potatoes, my partner had the grilled squid, and our daughter had grilled salmon. We also enjoyed the garlic bread, strawberry and avocado salad, and some wonderful ice cream desserts. El Mirador had wonderful views and was a great end to a perfect beach day. If we were on the island longer we definitely would have returned for dinner.

It was just a standard creamy buttery garlic sauce, which really allowed the plump, juicy mussels to shine. Delicate flavors, but warm and wonderful...we were really surprised at how much the mussels took on the flavor and texture of the creamy broth. Another simple yet fantastic treat we had was the tomato bread which is exactly what it sounds like: toasted bread topped with diced tomatoes. The tomatoes were seasoned simply with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Overall, very tasty and picturesque spot.
