S'AMARADOR is a modern restaurant situated at the fork of the Ciutadella port. Specialized in seafood, this chic spot is basked in white decor, giving off a clean beach vibe. Service is very attentive and friendly. For appetizers, my friends and I ordered octopus with slivers of potatoes, fried baby squid, langoustine (scampi), and ham. The seafood is extremely fresh: scooped from the daily catch. The langoustine was very tasty, but it was difficult to eat as there was not a lot of meat. For the main course, we had a thick piece of cod fish that flaked with one touch of the fork. It was as smooth as butter. It came with a side of vegetables that were quite bland, but the potatoes were savory. I would definitely recommend S'AMARADOR for an upscale dining experience.

Not a tourist trap as said in other reviews. Definitely a bit pricey but I have seen several Spanish families going there. Typically, "Arroz Negro con sepia y gambas" (see my pic) is 23€/person (minimum 2 persons) but awesomely tasty. Up in Ciutadella center on Placa dels Pins, it seems to be half price but I bet this is closer to Burger King style than a proper restaurant

Awful service. Syrupy, gross cocktails. Cheese plate had definitely been sitting out for a while. Vegetables did not seem fresh.

Recommended by Yelp. Tried and was disappointed. Price extremely high and quality of the fish is average.

Outstanding fresh fish. Extensive list of freshly-caught fish. My wife dish was one I can't…read moreremember the name of, but tasted very much like lobster. I had the John Dory and it was fantastic. Seated right on the water. We really enjoyed our lunch here.

My husband and I had made a reservation* after seeing a good review online, and we are so glad we…read moredid. * Note that making a reservation will get you a table inside, but the outside is gorgeous, so you might want to request an outside table. The atmosphere is amazing, place is pretty inside and out, and patio has little fire heaters, it was perfect for an October night. The waiters were also all very nice to us. The food & drinks: - prices are very fair, and they have a big selection of wines - for app we got the scallops and they were great. Smaller than what we are used to in the states, but also super savory and with a huge orange part of it (I love that personally) - we got the 2 specialty fish: the monkfish has the texture of lobster a little, and the John Dory is a little more flaky. Both great, but we loved the monkfish better. The side that comes with it is a mix of potatoes slices and onions, with peppers. Super good, and a perfect portion to get an app and a dessert - the dessert we got their cheese curd cake specialty and being a huge cheesecake fan, I loved it and would try it if you've never tried it. Overall a great experience, I highly recommend! Pro-tip: - it says online that it opens at 8pm, so we got there at 7:55 and it was already opened and by 8:30 all the outside tables were taken, so plan accordingly!
