Called twice back to back days and both times tell me yes and get there and they don't got it

Terrible service made me wait 5 days for a part then they gave me the incorrect part.

Don't shop here... Price: If you are a DIY-er, go to www.car-part.com and order your parts (with shipping) for HALF the cost of what Bionic charges. Service: They always tell you they have the part....you drive there and viola! The part is gone. Like the line from Goodfellas- "There was a problem and now it's gone....and there's nothing you can do about it." I have bought and received refunds (three days after requesting a refund) for four parts they did not have in stock this past year. I maintain three vehicles and buy my used auto parts from a recycler in Michigan for 1/2 the cost (including shipping!) and 3 times the warranty! Don't believe me? Call them at their number and see how you are treated....I promise you they will quote you a price higher than what you see on their website. It is a game....it is funny to them. Called to speak with my rep, I was told that my rep was on vacation and that was available to assist me today and that in the future to dial ext. 336. so I spoke with larisa, after she gave me the quote and told me I can pick up the parts today, I sent my customer to pick them up. My customer drove over 45 to pick up the parts to find out it was never available and that the price that i was originally quoted was not the same. Guy at the front desk is horrible. People over the phone promised parts are available, and purchasable. Go to the front deck, he claims they don't have the parts I just called in about. Asked him three different times to check, explained that I had already been told that they do have the part. He said no, until I called the manager over. I have searched all over for a wheel for my BMW. I finally called Bionic and had a talked with Omar, he was very helpful. Because of that particular rim, I wanted to be certain that It was the same one that we were both talking about before ordering, I decided to go the the shop in person. I do the parts search on their website. They have the alternator I need! I couldn't tell from their lame website if it was only an internet site or if they have a location open to the public so I call them, "Can I come and pick up parts there or do you only do online shipping?" "No, we're open to the public. Open 'til 6pm." So I'm thinking that this is cool I can go get it today instead of paying shipping costs and waiting for it. The next day I borrowed my friends car and made the 45 minutes in rush hour trip up there. I wait about 5 minutes while the guy at the desk is with a customer. He never acknowledges me the whole time. Finally I inquire about the alternator. "No, we don't sell alternators." WTF WTF WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!??????????????? So I try to explain about the site and the phone call... "We don't sell alternators." I do not understand why or who or what happened here. So, ok. The alternator was so cheap I still had to have it. So I dejectedly rode all the way back home and bought the thing online. It was a Friday night, and they claim they get it to you within 48 hours. Well apparently I entered a number wrong on the credit card. No big thing except they didn't contact me until TUESDAY to inform me. Ok so the review thats below this dude was on crack 100%.... I own a shop 1/2 block away and ive been there for 5 years....90% of the time the parts that i need are right there,they have 15 acres of used auto parts ranging from 95 up to 2009 which. And when the part is not there they locate it for free and it gets to my shop within 3 day at the max.....and now everyone is using after market parts, and its most convenient now that they have Auto Body Panels Of Chicago right next door. Mine is the same review as most of the others here - I called about 4 times to verify they had the part I was looking for, drove an 1 1/2hrs to pickup the part, wait in line for about 25min because there is only one person helping people, pay for the part, drive back to the pickup area, the part was in bad condition so they didn't even take it out of the car, had to go back up to the front, wait in line for another 15min to get a refund. I thought this was a good place to get a part I needed for my 09 honda civic which I needed a rear seat bench for. When I got there to pick it up, the part was a little wet and didn't have the clip I asked for a long with it. When I asked where is the clip? They said they didn't see it and I showed them that they were on the reciept to be retrieved. The guy looked at me like "are you serious..." He totally wanted to explode on me, but did his best to contain it, so I asked can I get it my self in the back lot... he gave me a lot of attitude and kept saying no. I tried to tell him the clip is needed for the bench to be installed in my car and it was written the reciept to get it... eventually going back and forth with front office who written the reciept, I was brought to the back garage manager and he basically was the same, he gave me look and impression "we can't get it for you, so tough luck"... he basically told me " you have to buy the part somewhere else" ... than what the heck am I paying for? only partial of the parts? All in all I walked away not wanting to deal with them... and would like people to know of what to maybe expect if they choose to go here... customer service in my opinion is negative... and in their website they say they clean the parts but it wasn't that clean... they basically pulled it off and threw it on a palate and thats that... again all in all the attitude was the worst and stood out the most. Made an hour trip for wrong part after I was told over the phone that they had it. I checked it out before they pulled it for condition but told the yard worker that it had a munufacture date that happened to be at the split and that he would have to remove a couple screws to know for sure if it was single or dual stage parts, but he looked at me like I had 3 heads. Went in to pay and also told the sales guy and counter guy about the split and he said it was the right one. Ended up having to go to the menards to get the tool myself to check before going all the way home and it was the wrong dual stage parts.It happens I guess but during the return process the idiot counter guy tries blaming me that I should have made sure it was the right one when I inspected it but unfortunately I didn't have a torx screw driver with me and they werent smart enough to listen to me. After wasting time and gas all he had to do is be professional enough to say sorry it didn't work out, instead he tried every ignorant excuse to falsely blame me when they assumed wrong even when I tried to explain my concearn. The time before this they claimed my trans was sold while I was on my way there. The sales guy on the phone was not bad but these idiots they hire just because they are bilingual are making this place a joke. Try to avoid this place if you value your time because they will sure do the opposite. read more
