When we arrived we were told that we must but another product in order to get her pain pills. We had to agree to that outrageous demand in order to get her pills. I paid $20 dollars for stool softner, that she does not use or need, so she could have her pain pills. I asked the clerk if the rule was a Federal law. Said no, it was company policy. They will swear they told you about, for instance, a 24 hour return policy on a walker. That was never mentioned to me until I tried to return a brand new walker because it was too tall for the patient. NO REFUND, NO EXCHANGE. I was told they could not resell the walker and it would have to go to the dump. DO NOT SHOP AT BLACK OAK HOME MEDICAL

I need to dispel some confusion here. During Covid, MANY…read morepeople needed respirators, the manufacturers ran short, AND NW Medical was short-staffed as many medical-related services still are. During this time a customer often had to call several times to get through, especially to a person. This has changed. People can now find respirators. I have found that when I had a problem, NW Medical was quick to COME TO MY RESIDENCE and replace what wasn't functioning. Getting parts, like hoses and other parts has become MUCH easier. Of special mention is JOYCE. When a part wouldn't arrive in time, she brought it to me when she was done working. People here go out of their way to help those of us with issues. Many customer complaints had to do with circumstances surrounding NW Medical, not the company or employees themselves.

They will tell her a day to pick up her meds that have already been approved, then tell her to bring an approval letter because she needed a "PA" when it was already approved, so they just let it sit for 5+ days even though it was already approved by insurance. They told her a specific day, (today) then told her to "come back tomorrow we do not have it", but already had a refill marked online. They are, quite frankly stupid and don't understand how to do their job. We've had many mishaps with them. The only person trustworthy and worthwhile is the elderly guy in the back. They even used to be one of the best pharmacies, but with new owners and new staffs it's absolutely horrific.
