I'm new to this plasma company, but in the past couple of months I have had a great experience. The wait times have been non existent. I think the most I've waited to get checked in has been around 10 minutes. There has only been one Saturday that the disconnect time was longer than expected, but there were a lot of people donating. I wanted to give a shout out to Lorena. She is quick and efficient. Gets you set up and disconnected while making friendly conversation. . Room for improvement would be that broken little camera to scan the app for check in (qt code). That seems to be the main reason for wait times in the early morning because it doesn't work most of the time w/o an employee manually scanning it. read more

I haven't been back for few months because I certainly don't like the wait time here especially when you see the staff standing around and didn't try to help the team. The blond hair tall guy used to be super proactive, but this time he tried to do very minimal work. On the other side, Kevin should be recognized because he is trying to help patient out, trying to speed up. The young staff, Nathaniis a hard worker, tried to find things to do all the time. The female staff is knowledgeable. My physician Lakeshia is nice and kind! Visited on 11/29/22 started at 0716pm finished at 0950pm. New machine had issues. Do not donate here! The phlebotomist who put the needle in my vein was NOT experienced enough and caused an infiltration of my vein on my left arm, after which they had a different person restick my right arm. Fast forward a few days later to my next appointment and they have me sit in the waiting room for 45 MINUTES just to tell me me I can't donate because of the bruises that they caused from piercing both of my arms. Fast forward to today, they tell me I can't donate AGAIN after having me wait for a whole hour in their waiting room. This place is ridiculous - it's clearly understaffed, the staff they DO have are not experienced enough to pierce a vein correctly, and this all leads to extre long wait times. I wasted time in the office because a staff member told me because I'm diabetic I have to get some form signed just to donate. If I go anywhere else this is NOT the case as I have donated many times without having to take a day off from work or go in late to get a doctor to sign some form. I've donated on and off for four years here, never a problem. It had been over a year so went in for my physical. They turned me away not for health reasons but because I live in an RV on the property I rent instead of a stick house per FDA guidelines(?!)......same place I've always lived when donating before. Said I could wait a couple hours to wait on a phone call to confirm.....no thanks three hours, a bridge toll, and gas to get there was expensive enough. This isn't said anywhere while signing up nor do they even offer a phone number to call anywhere during the sign up process. Not to mention the only option on the site is a returning donation. This the most unprofessional plasma center I have ever been to out of the 4 years I've been donating. Also, most ghetto place as well. Not only did one of your guys employee turn me AND my wife away for the day for not having appointments. ( called week ago to see if we need appointments, didn't need one ) but also got rude employee saying we need have mask right ask we enter. Didn't even said hello. Rudely said we needed mask or we can't enter. (never said we needed one over the phone ) BUT they DON'T supply you with one either...Then we had get mask on , went inside . Same employee ask if we had appointments, didn't have one due to be "new donors" but I been donating with Griofls for over 4 years....just at different facility's . Anyways, set appointments but I didn't wish to continue (thank god I didn't because my wife experience was just RIDICULOUS ) She had went in next day , come to find out she "wasn't " a new donor..just regular donor. So she spoke to manager because this guys you guys have working for you guys had wrong information, we couldn't donate that day. (Waste of time.) Not even getting to the good part yet. Then as she was speaking to the manager (someone had tried butting in with loud anger) and my wife was having private conversations with the manager, she just ask why we were turned down yesterday. They didn't give her new donor card because the one she had , they couldn't deliver her funds to it but didn't tell her after three hours of waiting ...driving back to the center to pick up her new card .. I have not seen her before, Thursday morning must be her shift and she must be new. Have never had a problem with other employees before. I hadnt donated in over a year due to a tattoo. When I came back I had to be screened again but the nurse was worried about my heart and needed a doctors note clearing me. Well I just brought in that note and it wasnt sufficient enough for them. Now all of a sudden they need specific questions answered, when before I was told just to get a note saying I was ok to donate. They gave me a form for the doctor to fill out. Which she neglected to give me the first time. This is all a massive waste of my time. The nurse said she's glad I got checked at least. Like she gives a damn. Brand new appointment system gets you in and out in 1.5-2 hours unless you choose a very popular time or they happen to get behind. It happens. First timers take much longer but it's a long process getting assessed and paperwork processed; they get compensated well though for their time. Staff is friendly and do their best to accommodate in a timely manner. Clean process and equipment with nothing reused, coming from an RN's personal OCD view. Complainer donors seem too picky for volunteering for a donor service that pays you. Pay varies from $25-$75 each time up to 2x weekly depending on month's incentives. Bonuses are sometimes unclear so ask for clarification. There are also many opportunities to win gift cards, prizes, and fun things. Definitely an easy way to make extra $ if your in a bind or want some guilt-free splurge money. My hubby and I budget smart and tight; this is absolutely a great supplement when we both donate 2x weekly. Avoid alcohol, coffee, and smoking before. Drink lots of water and eat a good balanced meal high in protein at least 2 hours prior, and you'll always feel great with no issues. read more

Then when you go use the money you think you should have at 5 am. And you have a trip planned. When I'm down and out of moolah (money) I come here and donate plasma. So first off you have to have government/or state issued ID, social security card, 1 valid piece of mail with the watermarked stamp date must be within 30 days of your first time. Your first time is always the longest because you go through enrollment, physical, & donation, allow up to 3 hours for your first time. First visit $30 loaded onto debit card you keep. With your second visit use the line pass (you only get one of these), second time $50. Based on the time of day (come early), the first & last weeks of the month are the busiest. If you continue to donate it's best to go 2 times out of the week $25 and $35 you have one day in between where you don't donate, it's hard change the days you donate so choose wisely. Have a good wholesome meal at least 4 hours before arriving, avoid alcohol,& tobacco products for at least 2 hours before and after. Drink plenty of water stay hydrated. When in the donation area it is cold, so wear something comfy warm or you can bring blanket. Cell phones are allowed but only to listen to music, games, & texting, remember to silence your phone calls are not allowed while your here. I discovered a secret that if you walk in sign in discover what number they are on( yes they use number system) so for example say you hear them call #1 & you just signed in and say your #35 wait 10 minutes to see how fast there are calling numbers so if they call #2 & #3 within that 10 minute period odds are you only wait 30 minutes, but if they don't then go run errands for a good hour and come back, I don't highly recommend doing this but it beats sitting there for a whole hour or more basically doing nothing but waiting. Today was my first time there and the staff were very friendly & helpful. And in general it was an easy process. I do want to add though that you should definitely set aside a large amount of time for it. I thought it would take about 3 hours, but it took exactly 4 hours for my first time. It's also really cold in there, so bring a jacket or something to keep half of you warm (since you need one arm out). The fluids (saline I believe) can also make you even colder and nauseous/dizzy. As a regular plasma donor I am here often. I have been pleased so far with everything to include most of the staff. Shout outs to Kaylen, Bri, Kara, and Celeste specifically. They are the best. The rest are just as good and have taken care of us. All donations are done with new equipment and needles. Nothing is reused. Serena explained the entire process to me and put my mind at ease before donation. You are also compensated for your time. I am an early bird so I don't fight with mid day lines. End of the month is the worst time but if you need the cash... They also throw pizza parries and bring doughnuts as thank yous to their donors. If they didn't care they wouldn't bother. Current compensation levels are 25 for the first donation and 40 the second of that week. All in all I have had positive experiences here. read more

Handful of Workers are unprofessional when it comes to closing time. I believe everyone should keep their posture until they're off the clock. When it comes to "poking" us they're pretty good. Some of them just rip it out of us which is not good. I've took phlebotomy classes & how they take it out is not comfortable. I think they need to take classes again. Out of all the phlebotomist I like 4 of them, they're awesome, they're comfortable to talk to, they are PROFESSIONAL, & they know how to do their jobs. I praise them. Other than that, this place isn't that bad. The wait of course is HELLA long but they do tell us beforehand. So I'm not worried or bitching bout that. Just make sure you have the time to go there if you are a first timer. read more

I have been here several times to donate as I work in a specialty clinic who's patients rely on biologic medications. Wanting to help and do my part to contribute to these types of patients I came in to donate my plasma. Came in each time with my significant other and it became kind of a joke at first when he noticed how I was constantly treated poorly and then it became so uncomfortable for me I stopped donating. Please don't judge those of us who come in after work in scrubs. The eye rolls and judgments aren't necessary. No I may not "need the money" but it wasn't about that for me. I have been donating at this location for a couple years now and I would say that I like it a lot. They have been changing over time and making the payments a lot more reasonable. The staff here is great and are a great help to make it as comfortable as possible for you. First time donors are usually the longest wait but once you are in the system and going for a while, my time here is usually just a little over an hour. Worth the wait. Come check it out. read more

I give them only two stars for one reason. My wife is a patient and is very pleased with the staff and the care she receives so this review is a warning more than anything. My wife lost her grandmother and was unable to go back home to be with her family. She was very upset and did not sleep on Monday night. Tuesday her stomach was upset and she did not feel well and did not sleep well Tuesday night either. She didn't feel like she could make her appointment Wednesday morning so she called them and explained the situation and was simply told she need to have a COVID test. Nothing specific was given. She went to a rapid test center and got a test done. Three test were done with two being negative and the other taking 72 hours for the results. The two she had were not acceptable. Only the test that takes 72 hours for the results to come out is. She has been having nothing but the runaround and here it is Saturday and she has not had a treatment since Monday. If you are ill and cannot make a treatment MAKE them specify to you WHERE to go and WHAT test you need to have done to avoid a great deal of heartache and grief. Her doctor is not happy with the fact it may be a week between treatments. read more

If you show up for an appointment at 2PM, don't expect to get to donating until about 3PM at the earliest. I went several times in 2015 to donate but had to stop due to not being able to get my blood returned (It happens sometimes). When I was there in 2015, the average time from start to finish took 4-5 hours easily. Since starting to donate again in 2016, I am in and out in 2-3 hours. Their process has changed slightly, and they are much more quick and efficient. I've been able to work with many of the people there and continue to go. Only reason I give it 4 stars is because I believe a few workers could speak up better or be a tad more friendly. Most workers are great! I have not been to any other donation centers, so I do not know how it is compared to others. read more

Donating plasma is a worth while cause that helps make medicines for all types of problems. Some medicine that plasma makes helps babies in the womb, children with some types of hereditary diseases, others with immune deficiencies and clotting disorders and all the way to helping trauma victims. There is such a wide range of people you could potentially be helping by donating plasma. Plasma cannot be synthetically made so these medicines are dependent on donors. This particular facility is clean and sterile. They follow all of the rules for safe, sterile and clean donating practices which is the most important. The majority of the staff are kind and helpful. If you are considering donating, I would recommend this facility. Please keep in mind that you are required to bring ID, SS card and proof of address. Also, keep in mind that this is a medical procedure and it will take time the first time you go. They will give you a complete physical and they do test their donors for certain diseases and HIV. It is very important that you donate at least twice within your first week as they cannot even use your plasma until they have taken 2 full donations and go through the process of testing to make sure it will be safe for others. Please be prepared to spend 3-4 hours your first time. After that, plan to spend 1-2 hours depending on the time of the day you go. They are open at 6am for repeat donors and I imagine being the first in the door would probably have you out of there in an hour. The actual process of drawing plasma and returning your red blood cells to you takes about 45 minutes. Each time you go, they will weigh you, take your temperature, blood pressure, pulse and prick your finger to check for protein levels and plasma ratios. If any of these tests do not meet standards, you will not be allowed to donate so make sure you eat a good meal, drink lots of water and are in general good health each time you go in. James, Kassandra, Shalamar, Shereece, Ricco, Joseph, Chloe and Nurse Carlton are all top notch staff members who treat their donors with kindness and respect. You will not be disappointed with their customer service skills. They will pay you for your time. I'm not sure what the pay schedule is but they do pay and they also have drawings, pizza parties and other bonuses and prizes. They will give you a prepaid debit card which will have money deposited on it after each donation. Please do read the terms of the card as there are some minor fees for multiple uses but you can just withdraw the amount from the card (on specific atm's) right after your donation without a fee. The refer a friend program only works if you refer someone who has never ever donated there before though, even if it was 10 years ago and you get them to go back, the referral will not count. The referred friend has to be brand new. Overall I would recommend trying this if you are a person in good health. You will be contributing to a very worth while cause and be compensated for your time. Every healthy person who has the time should at least give it a shot and see if it's for them. Remember though, you have to go more than twice before they can use your plasma to start helping people. Donate and save lives! read more
