DON'T GO HERE! The manager Abram is like a bully cop & nurse Rosalinda is his boot licking side kick! If you value your time you'll go somewhere else. They will have you waiting in line for hours, only to tell you they are sending you home because they are short staffed! Has happened to me multiple times. They have also bruised me several times which makes it impossible to donate for 3 weeks afterwards! This is coming from someone who has been going here for over 2 years & donated 200 times! Been donating plasma since February 2017 and has been great until I left Las Vegas and moved to Visalia CA in 2024. Since I've been here I have quit and come back 4 times because It gets so overwhelming how unprofessional some employees are. I say some because there are a few amazing employees but most play around and go extremely slow or skip over me and go to the next or new donor. Like today ive only been coming back here 2 weeks and it was amazing but today I got skipped because they lady was working like a snail and I had been waiting 25 mins past my appointment time. The difference between this center in Visalia and the one I visited last week in Fresno is like night and day! Visalia clinic I was treated like a person and talked to respectfully. The nurse here last named Stoner was the best and put me at ease and made me feel like i was in good hands . I wish all nurses were more like her . Ill be back ti this clinic for sure . So I have been donating since last November and I'd like to fill in some of the gaps to Edith's comments. Especially since I have been donating at 6am consistently for the last month now. The 6am times are pretty great, they are not AS busy in the late mornings/rest of the day I am there 1 1/2 hours at MOST. If I go past 6:30 I'm usually there 2 hours because I have to wait for an open bed. Go at 12pm and you will be waiting 3 hours. It's just that busy. It's not that the staff are too slow or not working like Edith down there is thinking. They are just too short staffed to open up more beds or they just don't have enough beds to put people in to donate. They do a really great job at delegating and prioritizing different areas based on how long each line is. It takes a long time to turn on the machines and get them warmed up for donors to use safely and also I don't know about you but I don't want these phlebotomists to be spread too thin and something goes wrong with me while I donate. First time donors need to carve out at least 4 hours of their time for just that day. Make sure you eat a hefty protein rich meal before going in your first time or they will turn you away. The intake process takes forever but once you get through that hump and donate in the mornings it gets better. You need your social, drivers ID, and two proofs of address or else they will also turn you away. The staff is usually walking around to check each patient's machine to make sure they aren't sitting there for too long, otherwise that means something is wrong. Also, if you are getting hematomas you probably aren't drinking enough water before you go in. The easier you make it for the phlebotomist to poke your vein the more successful of a donation you should have. I really enjoy donating plasma, it's a nice little hustle on the side. I wish they would offer more incentives for those who don't are consistently. Right now they only give major incentives for first time donors. Bring a small blanket and something to squeeze while you donate. It gets really cold when they put saline back into you and squeezing something while you donate helps dilate the vein for a faster donation. So many people come to donate now that it has become extremely difficult to find parking. Take that into account when arriving to your appointment. It can take anywhere from 10-15 mins to find parking and even then you still might have to walk. There are a lot of homeless that wander the area so don't keep any valuables in your cars and lock your doors! They have water and gold fish you can have while you wait. When I first cane in November the staff was pretty intimidating but, I think I come so often now they know me and are extremely friendly! Happy donating! read more

This review is for the nurse Mona. She is such an amazing woman. So kind and caring. I arrived at the facility for a physical abdominal donation. I say for an hour and.m a half before being told I was in the wrong spot. Mona took me in and made sure that after my physical I got to the front of the line and really helped me out. Lines in this place are ridiculous. 1 person at pre screening station about 15 people in line for screening. The queue line had around another 20 people waiting for a bed and it was only 9:30 am on a Wednesday. Need to do a better job scheduling around your staffing. Not worth the wait time. read more

Always under staff appointment was at 720 almost 8am still in line while they have 12 empty beds thought if I schedule early in am it would be better but it's not a year of donating here same crap different day need to hire people that want to work constantly understaff 2 years being open and nothing has changed read more

Had a very bad experience first time donating. Majority of staff don't know what they're doing and have terrible attitudes. They tried to short me of my earnings and have no accommodations for their mistakes whatsoever. Will not be returning. read more

This business is constantly understaffed making the time spent in line ridiculous. I have gone in for morning appointments only to have 20 plus people waiting. Not worth the time wasted in line. Hopefully when the new company that is going in where hometown buffet was will be better. read more

Jesus Christ! I have received 2 hematoma's from this place and every time I come in the girls are always talking and walking around while the line is super long. 3 problems: understaffed wait times up to 4 hours rude cancel your appointments and scheduling is a waste of time since they just give your spots to other people like the earliest appointment available for me they could give was 7 days ahead but they scheduled my bf as early as 3? Like does my plasma not matter? if u want to see him again so early why don't u date him -_- no but in all seriousness him and i had scheduled on the same day. they called me THE DAY OF and said my appointment was cancelled....due to short staffing. understandable but not my problem. so my bf still had his appointment and we went together. the receptionist or check in lady or whatever talked to him looked at his IDs for a first time donor, ignoring me the whole time, then looked at him and said "she needs to leave" like ok am i a dog now? u can't address me? like yes i can follow standard safety procedures and leave the building but if it wasn't for being short staffed i'd literally be donating that day. so rude. finally i decide to give it one more chance and schedule my next appointment. earliest they could offer me was 7 days later. ummmm tell me why my bf gets done w his appointment THE SAME DAY and they offer him just 3 days later??? so fed up. i know this ain't much but sh*t had me ANGRY so like if ur looking for an actual reason how about the staff there stuck the needle in his arm and the chairs r uncomfortable and it takes 4 hours to donate as a newbie. read more
