My experience here was rather robust. I appreciated the screening process despite the drawn out process, mostly due to do diligence. My body did not respond well and I experienced a medical emergency. I want to thank the staff and on site EMT. They were very prompt to call first responders and handled the situation very well, and for that I am grateful. Do Not Donate here, I was Discriminated against and refused service after waiting 2 hours due to being hospitalized over 10 years prior for mental health issues from the military. The exam doctor was rude & expected my personal doctor to do paperwork in response to the questionnaire just to be able to donate..... just avoid the stress don't donate. read more

I transferred to biolife in Aurora Colorado I waited 2 hours to be told no your veins are not viable! I've been donating twice a week in my hometown for months suddenly this guy tells me I have no veins now I've lost money they're idiots they don't know what they're talking about!!! Don't waste your time here...they rejected two of us for different reasons, but their online questionnaire doesn't match their in house questionnaire which is just plain silly. Wasted two hours driving and 1 1/2 hour there just to be rejected. If you want to give blood, I suggest Red Cross because nothing Biolife will pay you is worth the BS. read more

Well it would have been nice if the nurse or Anyone had bothered to return any one of my 6 calls to the center, to let me know if my protein test was back yet so I know whether or not I can donate without having to go all the way over there for nothing. After making me wait a half an hour even when I had an appointment, the woman taking my information immediately started going off on how masks were stupid, she was sure she got COVID in 2019!, and if she was going to get it she would have it already! Then she says she won't get vaccinated, and "we have a constitutional right to refuse vaccines, don't we?' looked me dead in the eye and said again "DON'T WE?" I have been going to Biolife for close to a year now. The staff has always been knowledgeable and professional. Most of the staff seem to be very well trained in phlebotomy. There can sometimes be a bit of a wait just because of the amount of people they are able to accommodate, however, the staff always works diligently to get people through the vitals check-in and on to a bed. The facility is always clean and I observe the best of practices leading up to the needle insertion. I have never had any issues receiving payment. I went after work, and everyone working was complaining about working! I couldn't believe it, like we're both getting paid to be here. The place was not clean like you'd expect a place to be. The process took double the time because they blew a vain, and then, when they switched arms and I finished, they pulled the needle out sideways! I will never return. Appointments are hard to get and full. I've been trying to donate for a month. Someone saw my arms each time I went and said I was good to go. They do not have clear eligibility information on their website or when you sign up. Just waited 2 1/2 hours to be told I can't donate because I have eczema on my arms.
