Let me first say that I am a business owner and reviews are very significant to me. Given the fact that we are a five star Google review rated business I have high expectations for any business I have interactions with. I have come to find that there are instances whereby reviews are not 100% reliable. Such was the case when reviewing this company while looking for a plasma center in which to donate to. Upon reading their Google reviews I was almost inclined to look elsewhere. I actually did so however after reading their reviews as well I ultimately decided I would make an appointment with Bio Life. Worse case scenario I could just leave in the event I was unhappy with the experience. I arrived five miutes early and was promptly greeted by the receptionist, provided the necessary ID and proof of residence and SS number which took all of about sixty seconds. I then went to a five minute screening, followed by my vitals being taken, a short questionare on the computer, followed by a ten minute physical exam and evaluation by Sara who is one of their resident RNs. It was quite obvious from the start that Sara was genuinely a very kind-hearted and caring individual. Synonymous with the traits that a genuine RN possesses. She made the process as comfortable as I can imagine such a process could be. Within minutes after she did my physical and answered any questions I had I was being hooked-up to a plasma machine and forty minutes later was finished. The entire new client process took two hours and five minutes from start to finish. What I took from the entire experience is that you cannot always go by the negative reviews posted on a companies reviews. In this instance I found them to be unreliable. I think in part because those leaving the negative reviews in the first place did so because they were unable to comply with the companies policies and in doing so left with a sour taste in their mouths because they were unable to get the money they needed. It had absolutely nothing to do with the competence of this company or the quality of care that they provide. Based upon my experience I found them to be an exceptional company and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to donate plasma. One last thing worthy of mentioning, Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited should give serious thought in either promoting or giving a pay raise to their resident RN Sara when her next review comes up as I can tell you being a business owner she is an invaluable asset to your company.
