I'm looking for someone to move a spinet piano from our basement to a bedroom within the same house, also an organ from an enclosed patio to the same bedroom. I contacted BinTris, a local company who's website says they specialize in moving vaults, heavy safes, pianos, pool tables and more. I explained what I needed and was told, "I know what a spinet piano is but not the organ". From a company that specializes in moving pianos? At their request I emailed photos to BinTris of the specific organ and one of a similar spinet piano from the internet. I also sent them all the dimensions of both the piano and organ. I was looking for a ballpark estimate and received a call this morning stating they received the photos and they don't think that is something they can help with. Really? And they specialize in pianos, heavy safes and pool tables per their website? If they specialize in moving pianos and show a picture of a Grand Piano on their website, they can't move a much smaller spinet piano or smaller organ? I sure don't understand it and I suggest they revise their website information. read more
