I recieved a beautiful bouquet of flowers 3 weeks ago and they are still alive and beautiful. I have never had flowers last this long and stay so fresh. I came to lake George From Phoenix AZ to surprise my daughter who was in a Musical that weekend, and wanting to surprise her I used yelp to find Binley! They were awesome! I was able to pick out the flowers I liked in her favorite color and they made some suggestions and then beautifully wrapped them! I had ordered flowers through them and there was a mixup where they actually didn't deliver to my location -- Tammy apologized profusely for the mistake and then generously offered to still fulfill the order and deliver the flowers herself the next day, despite it being quite far away for her. I ordered a fall bouquet to be delivered to a funeral home when a friend passed in Nov 2024. I ordered the largest size and it was beautiful in the photo. When I saw what they sent I was mortified and very embarrassed. My husband couldn't believe it. They never added the message I had given them. They only added my first name, not my husbands and no last name. The condition of the flowers was poor. They were not fresh at all and I had them sent on the day of the wake. I called the florist and complained. If it would not have looked very improper I would have taken a photo of them to send to the florist because the woman I spoke with said she couldn't believe they looked as I described and assured me she would have the owner call me later in the day and that she would make it right. No one ever called, I have a feeling I may have spoken to the owner and she didn't want to deal with my complaint. I will never do business with them again and I would urge anyone else to do the same. They may have thought that since I ordered online I would never see them. If so very shabby business. I have been a loyal Binley customer for years of birthdays, holidays, and special celebrations. Even since moving out of the region (and New York state completely), I have continued to order direct from Binley for all of my floral needs. Though it is always cheaper to order from a 1-800 flowers and the like, I have been proud to support this local business through the years. Unfortunately, the Mother's Day order I placed this year will be the last I place with Binley. Knowing the weekend would be a busy one, I placed the order to be delivered on Saturday. May 12th (Sunday the 13th was also available, but I chose Saturday in case there was a delay). I did not receive the usual delivery confirmation email from Binley on Saturday, but assumed it had just slipped through the cracks in the midst of a busy weekend of Mother's Day floral deliveries! I finally receive a delivery confirmation, and am disappointed to see that the flowers were not delivered either Saturday or Sunday, but rather Monday, May 14th. I immediately called Binley, as I've never had any issue with them before. The employee who answered the phone was not apologetic, but rather told me the recipient wasn't home on Saturday and was trying to rush me off of the phone (the recipient was certainly home on Saturday, but I was not going to argue with her). I asked why a Sunday delivery was not attempted, and was told they made a "last minute decision" to not deliver the already delayed order. Keep in mind that when placing the order I could have selected to have them delivered on Sunday -- but no re-delivery attempt was made on Sunday for an already delayed order. There was no apology made for this inconvenience, and that is when I decided to stop supporting Binley. I am grateful that the flowers have since been delivered, but the quality is not what I have come to expect from Binley. The flowers are clearly a few days past their arrangement date, and this is disappointing. After years of being a loyal Binley customer, I'm disappointed to be writing this review. read more

Kathy went above and beyond to help me with a really special gift basket for my Dad, that celebrates his birthday with the thing that makes his heart the happiest---dog treats for his pups! We collaborated on a theme that will be sure to knock my Dad's socks off! I am so grateful for the customer service, the friendliness and the time Kathy took for a fairly lengthy consultation. Friendly staff, great place for every day flowers or special occasions. However their flowers that they sell for the seasons have gotten to be outrageous and much higher than the competition? I used to buy all the flowers for my property from them but now five from others due to high prices. read more

I "found" Binley through my regular florist "Flowers by Jo-Ann" in Schenectady's Upper Union Street shopping district as I didn't know a florist to deal with directly in Queensbury, NY.
