She did an absolutely incredible job. I live out of state right now, and Jordy was very easy to get a hold of through email. The flowers at our wedding were better than I could have imagined. Everything was absolutely perfect. Jordy provided us with our bouquets, boutonierres, flowers for my flower girl's hair, our table centerpieces and flowers for the ceremony. She was able to reuse some of the flowers between the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, which saved us quite a bit in the long run. I was grateful for her thoughtfulness to stay within our budget. Also, she provided us with table numbers and candles. When I first met with Jordy I didn't have a budget yet. After our first meeting our budget was set, and unfortunately the inital ideas we had wouldn't work. Jordy was totally understanding and helped us to stay within our budget, and I can't thank her enough. Finally, throughout our planning she created a joint Pinterest board for us to use and pin our ideas to. It was nice to be able to visualize ideas and to make sure we were on the same page. There's a small seating area inside (4 tables) and some outdoor seating available in the good weather months. It's immaculate, bright and inviting with friendly, helpful service. If you're staying, have a seat and your meal will be brought to you after ordering/paying. If you need "to-go", that's available, of course. We happened to arrive during prime lunch hours, so our food took some time....but totally worth the wait. My berry spinach salad was fresh and absolutely delicious with just the right amount of fruit, greens and grilled chicken. Homemade iced tea was great as was the espresso that I spied several others snagging. Had a double shot. Rave reviews from my dining companion, too. Sylvia took the time to meet with my husband and I before our wedding for a couple of hours to get to know us and our tastes. She came to the meeting prepared with tons of amazing flower recommendations, a photo collection to look through for inspiration, and a vast knowledge of beautiful color palette ideas and various styles. I'm not a flower expert, and since I was my own wedding planner, I was unsure of what I wanted (to say the least). Sylvia helped us to feel confident in our ideas - giving lots of guidance, but also listening to our ideas and helping us to articulate our vision. Throughout the planning process I changed what I wanted flower wise a number of times. Sylvia was completely flexible and patient and worked with me and my budget. As the wedding approached, she met us at the space for a walk through to confirm where everything needed to go, and to make sure we were on the same page, down to the last detail. They captured the essence of my romantic, NYC Fall wedding perfectly. She traveled all over the city the day of to make sure groomsmen had boutonnieres and the girls had their flowers.
