Don't live in the area, but was there for a bit for a side job with the bf. Came in and ordered their special banh mi. I wish I live near by after eating it. It was delicious and the best banh mi I've had in a long time. I grabbed a few items like banh it. A pack of shrimp spring rolls and a stick of nam chu. Wish I had more time to do shopping on the market side. Everything is fresh and well refrigerated, and wicked clean. read more

This grocery is small but it has a lot of products and it can get really busy on Saturday mornings. I came here mainly to check out their pre-packaged cooked food which also includes desserts. To my surprise, they offer several types of Banh-mi (cold cut, beef, char siu etc). I ordered the cold cut which was $5, to my surprise, they reheat the baguette so it's nice and toasty unlike a lot of places. The sandwich was packed with a lot filling for only $5! That's a steal for me considering some Vietnamese restaurants charging $8-10. And yes it was delicious as good if not better than the ones in Chinatown in Boston. I would order first then shop around for grocery. I also bought about 6 spring egg rolls which thai chili sauce for $5. When I touched the container it was still warm so was definitely freshly made. I'd come back next time to try other banh mi. Like most places they charge a bag ($0.50) and they don't have parking but you can easily park on the side street. read more

Amazing asian foods and snacks! Found the juice of my life there, some type of orange citrus!

If I'm within a 30 min radius of this market, I'll be making a stop by. After stumbling upon this place after dropping off a family member at school nearby, I've since kept thinking about the goodies at the market and what to try next. Being from central Connecticut, while we do have some of these delicacies in our area markets, I'm always excited to try a different flavor and check out the offerings at Binh Anh. Lots of options and many Vietnamese and south East Asian items that are available for your choosing! The star for me is the Che Khoai Mon (Taro pudding with coconut milk and tapioca). The first time my partner and I tried it we just went wow. In fact now my partner is converted to saying he loves Che and wants to try them all. With so many options, there's definitely a lot to try! I only wish I lived closer to do that. Otherwise I'll look out for the text where they have the English name of the dish and ingredients. read more

Just got a Bánh Mì Thit Nguoi (vietnamese cold cut sandwhich) and it was bomb. I hate when the bread is thick and so chewy but their bread they use is PERFECT. It reminds me of the bread at Lee's sandwhiches in Cali, just smaller. The cold cuts were very thin which I prefer and you get a slice of each meat. Next time I will ask for extra of everything especially their homemade pâté & butter/mayo as those are also my favorite to eat with this bread. The proportion was great for grab and go as the deal they had is $5/ any banh mi. I will be back to try the grilled meat version, Bánh mì thit nuong and their freshly made sugarcane juice! Driving through the area and their "Australia and Antarctica" signs caught my eye, so we decided to stop in. Not a single thing from either of those areas to be found, but many Vietnamese items. Some interesting fruit right by the door, fantastic mangoes and non-Cavendish bananas. Produce, meats, and fish in the back. Sauces, noodles, sweets and snacks in the cramped aisles. Real gems were prepared foods up by the registers and in the cooler. Taro tapiocas, banh--mi sandwiches, interesting drinks, sweet sticky rice, other things that looked good but we didn't try because there was obviously meat involved. The store is unclean and hosts moldy food. It is really unfortunate because they are one of the very few Asian import supermarkets in Worcester. It is not worth getting food with moldy spores on it no matter how desperate you were for Asian cooking ingredients, I definitely feel sick when I think about the food I bought before and then noticing that a few of the display portions were molded over. read more

The smell of durian hits you as soon as you walk into the market. It's unapologetic. You should be, too. This is a come as you are, as you were, kind of establishment. The management seems to know most of its customers, the majority of whom were Vietnamese on the evening I went, but they seemed to be polite to all comers. On the August Saturday I visited, there were a wide variety or prepared Vietnamese foods for sale: hy lac chay (non-veg) made out of a ground pork paste / sausage wrapped in nori seaweed; bi cuon chay (vegetarian rice paper rolls filled with bean curd, rice vermicelli and vegetables), translucent crescents of rice flour dumplings filled with shrimp. In addition to durian, they had mangosteen (difficult to find and only recently allowed as an import), and less exotic oranges, bananas and grapes. There were aisles of shrimp paste, pates, canned fish, tapioca flour, various types of long and short grain rice, tapioca balls for bubble tea. There was a nice-looking butcher counter and produce section in the far back of the store. In short, there were all of the signs of a well-stocked Vietnamese market. This is the kind of place that really makes me happy just by existing where it does and how it does. I hope it keeps on keeping on. read more

Very convenient to Vernon Hill. Has great large fresh vegetable selection. Variety good. Has all ingredients for Asian cooking. Very helpful and friendly owners and employees. Parking not a problem. read more

No store parking, you have to park on the street or a few stores down in a lot which is also paid parking. Granted, the paid parking won't break you wallet, since its only $1 an hour and typically, you really don't need more than that at this store. The store was smaller than I thought. You would be able to guess how big it is big just the front of the store. What makes this place stand out is that it has fresh vietnamese prepared food. When I was here the freezer by the wall was emptied out. Not much of a selection here. read more
