When I don't have the time to drive into Mt.Vernon I call the Stanwood location and they have the produce waiting there for me. Last yr I drove up (from Edmonds) to Stanwood and the truck hadn't gotten there at time they were supposed to. They were so great to me-they knew I drove in so what they did is have the driver bring them to me! I will continue to go to Schuh's every year! I love their selections and the daily picked produce available. When the kids were younger it was a must to visit for pumpkin season-fun activities available for the kids including hay rides.

There's more here than just olives: garlic, sauces, jams and jellies, mustards and other condiments, pickled veggies, vinegars, oils, wine, kitchen goods, cookware and doo-dads, books, apparel, and likely a whole lot more I overlooked, while whittling down my selection to a handful of jars. Apparently I have good taste, as one of the employees remarked that I'd picked his two favorite olives in the entire store. Samples of olives and related products are available, but limited. Employees are very friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging. This is the sort of mercantile Mecca you hope, nay, pray to find while shopping in a small town, and the Olive Shoppe does La Conner proud!

The park this market is at is perfect for a stroll and when you buy food from one of the local vendors you can find a nice spot on the grass to enjoy it. Normally this would be weird but I love the PNWs randomness and wouldn't question it. Or visit one of their friendly booths to inquire about Arlington. Zipped Stocking Co was the first stand to catch my full attention. These stockings are handmade to hold so many goodies. An entire wine bottle can comfortably nest in these and you can zip it up for safe keeping. The feel of these is so soft and they have the cutest designs like festive avocados! Magik Bathtime had really cool bath bundles that they're raffling off and I'm sure everyone would love to win one! I love the dreamy look of their collections. One stand I will definitely be looking up online is Pacific North Tess. Everything about this booth is perfection. They print your dogs custom portrait on a t shirt or sweater, have all too relatable bumper stickers, plus groovy tye dye attire.

So I was very pleased to find this little magical farm that has great fresh organic eggs, onions, carrots, ginger root, kale and a bunch of other really wonderful organic food for a reasonable price.
