The service was excellent and couldn't ask for more.
The food was of a good standard and there was a unique offering to the menu and not necessarily the standard list of what you see on an Indian restaurant.
The girls that ate with me were really impressed with their food, mine was good enough but I wasn't as wowed as I had the dosa. One of the starters was amazing - basically posh potatoes cakes with pomegranate and garnish on the top. These were so good. Then the other starter was full of flavours - potatoes and onion mash on top of bread - was too perfumery for me, and the other girls were okay with it.
The biriyani was made with quinoa which was beautifully presented and was a unique twist on the classic dish. My friend really liked it, I though again, bit too perfumery.
The wine was perfect and really well priced.
It is evident that this place uses really fresh ingredients and stay true to their own unique style and that was quite quirky and European but some very traditional Indian spices used.
The whole evening was lovely and the owner and her partner couldn't do enough for you. Really is somewhere you have to go. We weren't rushed we sat there finishing off the wine and the water and they just left us be chatting away with no pressure whatsoever. It really is a delight!!!! An absolute must to stop and have dinner at, it would be a shame to miss this when in Palma! read more
