UPDATE TO REVIEW AT THE END. Ive been an online customer for years and just wanted to reveal my most recent customer service interaction to show current customer service support expectations. There was a 50 percent off promo for a battery mount kit with optima d35 purchase and warranty seemed nice. Battery is advertised for cars that sit for long periods of time with aftermarket radios. I have stock radio but figured id give it a try since my car does sit for long periods of time and i needed a new battery. Keep in mind i leave my car on a CTEK battery tender on the AGM setting. Battery failed within a year so i went to Interstate to see if a recharge was possible. Battery was tested, deemed bad and replacement was reccomended. I started the warranty claim and a reply from customer service was contradictive to the advertisement. "I can get the process started to have this one set up for warranty testing. You will have to ship the battery back to us. Out of curiosity, what car did you end up installing this battery into? I know the D35 is the standard battery for certain models, but in the BMW world we typically use it in race cars that have thinned electronics." I had bimmerworld supply label for me and sent it back. Unfortunately at some point the battery was damaged so customer service told me there is nothing they can do for me at this time. I had to remind customer service they provided the label and see if they can pursue warranty claim with ups. Unfortunately ups denied claim and there is nothing they can do for me at this time. Im just a little upset with the product misrepresentation. UPS claim was also not provided. I even offered testimony from interstate that the battery wasnt damaged in my possession. UPDATE TO REVIEW. Customer service reached out recently. UPS is providing a goodwill credit for the damage after all. Customer service offered a battery replacement for correct application or store credit. ****Update ***** In my initial review, i had not yet returned the brake rotors and pads. Within the following days I made it to the post office. The bill was $275.00 to return the items. Had they just created a return postage through their own account, this would have been a lot less. I will attach receipt. I called bimmerworld and apparently was able to reach one of the only employees that cares about customer service, John Webb. John was only able to provide store credit for half of the bill I had incurred, but I was grateful for that gesture. He was also surprised at the cost and asked why bimmerworld did not create the return label and just charge me their cost. This was an idea I had suggested in my earlier conversation. In short, try to contact John Webb if you want some common sense resolution for whatever issue you have. Keep in mind I ended up having to purchase parts I did not need as store credit. I still took a loss of $275 on parts that bimmerworld will repackage and resell. They incurred no loss. Great business motto! read more

If I'm paying as much for the part, as I am the shipping, I expect it to be here, not just now being shipped. Canceled order immediately. I purchased an item from them as part of a very large multi thousand dollar order. The item came defective but, I did not find out until my road trip to the other side of the country. I reached out to them as soon as I got back which was only 2 weeks from purchasing the item and I was left having to deal with the manufacturer on my own. I was given some support links from the manufacturer but, no internal solution. All I wanted was an exchange but, they would not even entertain the idea. Service horrible. Every customer needs to know that. I've never put 1 star to anyone. But this guys made me do that. I was ordered items from BimmerWorld and when parts were on the way i had some problems with my car and asked to cancel my order. They said we already sent it that's why I needed to return and pay for shipping. So they charged me for for restocking fee which is 10%. But it's not end. I'm still waiting for my money refund. So from the start I had issues, the shipping was jacked, they of course blamed it on the part supplier. I bought over $600 worth of suspension parts that all came on 3 separate dates over a two week period..good thing I didn't have my car apart. After the purchase the shipping said 5-7 days I would have assumed it would all come as one order...nope! I had taken measurements of ride height before installing the new stuff,my car is equipped with sport suspension ZHP and ride height is lower from factory..and so after installation the rear sits about perfect but front is sitting almost 1in higher than stock..not good, so did the online chat deal with tech support..laugh..the only advice he gave me was remove the spring pad??wtf.. While most places ship free, Bimmerworld does not. Also, if you have to ship a part back due to wring part ordered, all cost you pay, which in my case was $150 to ship a radiator back via UPS. Use Summitt Racing instead of this place, they have free shipping on all orders over $100, or Walmart or Amazon just due to free shipping on returns. There shipping cost more than the actual $104 radiator. Lesson learned, never again! Besides this huge issue, customer service was great and good prices and selection of parts, but you better factor in shipping cost before ordering. read more

Their return policy is very restricted (no electronic parts can be returned for any reason) and their customer services sucks, took them 5 days to respond to my return request and then they denied it twice for two different reasons. They will not work with you, even to return a part you never used. Very poor company, don't do business with them. read more

If you want an oil pan that comes 0% ready to install look no further! This oil pan will come full of metal shavings from the careless workers at bimmerworld. But when you call they'll insure a pan full of shaving is fine to install on the car, of course. Also, the tap for the dipstick won't be tapped right at all, so you'll need to visit your local machinist to get it correctly tapped. The workers know nothing, very unprofessional. Horrible product.
