We were there past closing time (we didn't realize it until we were leaving), and the owner was happy to take as much time as we needed to try everything out and ask lots of questions...and we didn't even purchase anything that day! When you call Schenck's, you do not get the typical automated answering service. Every time I have called, it has been a human, often the owner, which is quite refreshing. We actually had a concern about one of the pieces we purchased, and they took care of the concern right away. It turned out to be something simple that the manufacturer overlooked, but Schenck's picked up the loveseat and returned it to us, fixed and good as new, within a few hours. After no return call, I called Kuhn again and spoke with Brandy the manager. Told me they were tightening up on folks that used small amounts, and if they did refill out tanks, next year we would have a $300 deposit, if we did not use at least one tankful. Never received anything about new rules prior to conversation. Brandy told me that she would speak with owner, who had just departed the office and call me back shortly or first thing Friday (day after Christmas). After no contact by 11am, I called Kuhn and cancelled the service, they had provided for over twenty years. Amazed at the little concern they showed. Maybe not a big customer, but was certainly a loyal customer. If you don't intend to call someone, then don't tell them you will. I was told today this is their busy season.
