Price was very, very reasonable for the service provided. I highly recommend Buck's Tree Service. My mother has also used them in the past. She's sometimes picky to the point of being unreasonable, but even she was pleased with their work. I understand the comment from 2018. Know that when. you are calling, you are actually talking to the man who's going to be doing the work. He's probably on a job, etc. You won't be talking to a guy that just rides around in a truck all day giving estimates. It's unfortunate the earlier reviewer found him to be a bit gruff over the phone. I found Phil to be a very pleasant and respectful individual.

We had a very overgrown backyard with dozens of 40-50 foot oaks, ashes, maples, etc. The thick canopy was keeping us from getting a decent lawn established. Judicious trimming - again, with the trees' health in mind - opened up the canopy to allow sunlight in, allowing grass to grow. Not the cheapest around, and sometimes too busy with other work, but all in all I would not hesitate to recommend Jones.

My basement has been completely dry for 20+ years but a year after the leveling and dry well were installed by basement repeatedly flooded, I pumped out 1000's of gallons of water in a failed attempt to save my finished basement over a three month period. Repeated calls to Kull did nothing and finally I dug a trench to drain the ponding water and dug out the top of the dry well which caused water to flow out for hours. Kull Scape agreed that the dry well caused the problem and extended the pipe further out into the yard last Aug. Last fall we received 6.7" of rain and the basement remained dry proving the dry well was the problem. I sent a certified letter and presentation documenting the damage to Kull Scape in early Jan 2020 asking them to pay for the repairs to my basement of approximately $4022. We called them again earlier this week to get an estimate on having the remaining trees removed from our backyard. We knew when we moved into our house that they would eventually be a problem. None of them were in very good condition, as they were either hanging over the house, dead, or dying, and it just got to a point where they were becoming too much of a hazard. The Tree Surgeon came out with their crew the same week, and within two days they removed at least 8 trees from our yard at a very reasonable price! They worked quickly and efficiently, and they did a great job of cleaning up.

How embarrassing to put a client in that position, knowing I paid in full well before the job was complete. The mulch BTW was the best I have ever seen. The "clean up" was not great, the mulching for the most part was alright, but left a large area unmulched and did not put down weed prevention, which was contracted for.
