I have a 2001 GMC Sierra 3500. I had just dropped off donations at Goodwill. When I started my truck, I heard a loud humming noise underneath the truck. I turned the key off but the sound persisted. Since I was near Billion Chevrolet on 12th Street, I stopped in at the service department. I explained the problem to a service advisor and asked if they could look at it right way. I was worried that whatever was making noise would cause damage (and more repairs) if left untreated. The service advisor said I would have to leave the truck and they could look at it by the end of the day. I informed him that the ABS light came on at the same time, and he informed me in a somewhat condescending manner that the ABS light was "an unrelated issue." I called Billion GMC instead. The service advisor there said to bring it in right away. When I arrived, the service advisor listened to the noise, noted that the ABS light was on, then took the truck back right away to the shop. Thirty minutes later he explained that the ABS module had failed and was constantly engaged. The mechanic removed the fuse for the ABS module to temporarily disable the ABS system. The service advisor explained the problem, explained the solution, and ordered parts. I was on my way in thirty minutes. I had bought a vehicle at Billions in Dell Rapids worst experience, customer service & service dept I ever had. My vehicle was in there all the time never got anything accomplished except smoke blown up butt and that's the short version!! With that being said I was very scared to try another Billions but I needed my vehicle fixed. Not gonna lie I went in with an attitude and was expecting to be treated the same way. But I'm so glad I did that's where I met Josh Cocharan, I tell ya this guy went above and beyond his job description. He answered all my question's, explained everything in depth but not over my head & never made me feel like an idiot. His knowledge of vehicle's is crazy I love that!! He has aways treated me with kindness and respect which I appreciated so much. All the problems I had with my vehicle he made sure they were fixed and I walked out a happy customer. I purchased a car from them 2 years ago, was from out of town, and they made some promises to me that since I couldn't take the care to my mechanic, if I found anything wrong, they would help me out. Needless to say they did not, they just told me whatever I wanted to hear to sell a car. Also, they sold me an extended warranty stating it "covered everything" and was "bumper to bumper". Another lie to make a buck, tried to use the plan 3 times, all three times they had a reason or small print that declared that repair non-covered. Spent $2000 on a warranty I couldn't use, and had to pay $1,500 out of pocket for repairs on top of that. They wouldn't even provide a refund of the policy. If you go to Billion, don't trust a word they say, demand everything in writing, signed by a manager, and DO NOT buy any "extras" from them. They are the epitome of they "Sneaky Used Car Salesman" stereotypes. read more

Should a dealership choose to be open on a Saturday, then I say, "Be open fully opposed to shortchanging the customer who is left waiting for an unreasonable period of time before finally leaving in disgust. Billion's self pat on the back of offering the red, blue, green, and black teams are convincingly left embarrassed when all were empty and left vacant on this Saturday. The one and only station available for service was manned by someone named Josh who clearly made manifest to waiting customer's that he could not give a rip what anybody thought. Fully bearded and covered in tattoos, I am reminded that a company of any sort is only good as its weakest link. Billion has much to lose as long as they choose to entrust their name to carnival like high school drop outs like Josh. They wont see me again. read more

I just returned from the customer service department at Buick GMC in Sioux Falls. Brad has that area of the dealership running like a clock ... very courteous, knowledgeable, patient, and willing to listen. Last Thursday my Envision was serviced, so I felt badly heading back to see Brad. But, my glove compartment was stuck and would not close. Had DEALER covered work done on my 2010 Acadia for issues on the back hatch. They replace the struts at no charge (which was the notice in the mail), but I also wanted them to fix the broken mount from the activation rod (which was related to the same issue). They told me this was not covered under that and would charge me a minimum of $150 labor. I was NOT happy and went to order the, under $10 part to replace myself. After a month, they lost my order and had to re-order it again. Still not done after 6 weeks. Never had this bad of service. read more

I ALWAYS take my vehicle to Josh for service advice. His philosophy is to treat customers like family. He wouldn't knowingly put a customer in an unsafe vehicle.
