They came to my 1978 house and blew in insulation into my two attics. Did an "adequate " job. This was back on 8/5/2006. Cost $900.00 Come to find out later (2018 ) you should always make sure your attic is air sealed BEFORE blowing in insulation so you can FIND the air gaps and foam seal them. If you don't, the performance of your NEW blown in insulation is reduced by at least 50% . My R value after install of blown in fiberglass was R49. With no air sealing prior to install of blown in insulation the performance R value is NOT R49 but around R10 ! This company made no mention of this prior to installing the blown in fiberglass back in 2006. In 2018 I retired and was home and not traveling. This is when I started investigating WHY my home is still not any Warmer or Cooler during the year. I have all new sealed windows, door seals and a new 95% efficient furnace and A/C. In my opinion this company is the expert in what they are selling and doing. It's their job to educate the customer. BEWARE and do your research because there are contractors out there that see nothing but DOLLAR SIGNS and DOLLAR SIGNS seems to "cloud" their judgement . read more
