My new local pub. Really nice, with a lovely beer garden area to enjoy sunny days (don't worry if…read moreit's not warm enough, they have heaters outside). The staff is lovely and as a pub they have an extra point with the food...because it's yummy! Last year they had a pop-up-summer-hog-pulled-pork-thing that was incredible! And this year I've been trying little bits from their menu....and specially enjoying the Sunday's one. I'm spanish, and their cod bites taste like proper Spanish buñuelos de bacalao!!!

This is quite a special pub in Tottenham, it's certainly got its own character - it's fairly large…read morewith several different rooms and a garden area outside. There were quite a few real ales on when we were there, and a couple of craft beers on tap. They have a 5 star food hygiene rating on the door which is actually reassuring, it shows they obviously take food seriously and that management care about the place. We did go for the food and it was really good, I was surprised actually as they didn't seem to be making an effort to sell themselves on the quality of the food. We were there early evening and the place already had a buzz to it, they'd also had the Rubgy on earlier but was showing outside which was fantastic as you could then choose to go out and watch it or stay in and ignore it as you pleased. Probably the stand out point was the friendliness of the service, we were met by very enthusiastic bar staff who made the visit memorable - hopefully it's always this good here!

A nice chill place that has a build your own gin and tonic menu for the G & T drinkers…read more We went on a Sunday evening around 7 when they offer a Sunday roast menu, however, they didn't have any of the roast items that night. So I had the beef pie instead. The beef pie was good with the side of mashed potatoes, but like a few girls I know would say, I've had better. Overall, a good place, especially for the location and I, will try it again. hopefully on my second visit, I will be able to get the Sunday roast, and hopefully, it will be worth another star in my review.

First of all, it's actually off a main road on the very edge of Tottenham and not far from the resevoirs and lakes nearby. Okay it boils down to this: the food here is damn good! close your eyes for a sec - now think of all typical British pub food and think of them done very, very well. If you like some of what's in that imagination, then go to the Ferry Boat. The steak is particularly good and their desserts will surprise you a lot! The strawberry cheesecake there beats the undies off most fancy cake shops in the city. The atmosphere is good, no rowdy or shady characters here (apart from me of course~!) should make for a decent meal out with friends; a nice and spacious beer garden is also pretty good if the weather is nice (yep, all 4 good days of the year!) The only downer is the fact that the furniture is a bit off compared to the otherwise exceptionally nice interior (with woodfire and country house feel). The chairs are at times rickety, and some pretty mismatched and gawdy. It says 3 stars on top but I'd give it 3.5. I wouldn't cross the city to dine here, but if you want a safe choice and are nearby then check it out. Ash
