So my car was reported stolen in Sep 2021 and then recovered in Dec 2021 with a State of Washington tag on it. The police did let me know who the tag belonged to so I made contact with her and she advised me she traded her vehicle in at Bill Byrd KIA which had that license plate on her vehicle when she traded it in. Apparently the employee who still continues to work there took the tag off her traded in vehicle and placed it on my vehicle which was involved in an accident. How do they allow an employee to continue to work there after he's committed theft. Well according to KIA Headquarters in Georgia this is a franchise company so they don't have to go by the rules and slap their employees on the wrist and call it a day. I will go to the media with this until this is fixed correctly

After finding Auto Nation, I made an appointment online and I was set. I arrived to my appointment on time, walkes in and was quickly greeted by Mike. He was polite and attentive. He got my car right in for diagsosis and directed me to their customer lounge, which had coffee, water and flavored drinks available. I sat down, put my tablet on their free wifi and did some work whike waiting. After about 20 minutes, Mike came back with a diagnosis and a price. I told him my extended warranty / service contract was going to cover it. I was going to call the company but he said he would take care of it. After about 5 minutes, that was all squared away and they were working on Ebony. It took about 90 minutes and Mike returned. He told me they did a multi-point inspection as well, no extra charge, and all was great with the car. He took me to the cashier, gave some closing pleasantries and he was on his way. The cashier was also polite and attentive. Within 4 or 5 mimutes I paid and was on my way. The whole experience was easy breezy and I was well taken care of. The only reason they do not get 5 stars from me is because they do not offer loaner cars. I would recommend Auto Nation and will use them again.

The first car I purchased was great; just underwater. I ended up trading it in on a new 2022 model in February and in less than 5000 miles I had to replace the torque converter. After another 1000 miles it's back in the shop again with a malfunction on the camshaft position sensor. I am glad I did not purchase the warranty on it that Honda was trying to pressure me to buy since it already had a CPO warranty from the last owner which carried over and the torque converter was covered at the GM dealership. I am hoping this issue with the camshaft position sensor will be covered as well. The main issue is Honda did not do the complete inspection on the vehicle or at least the repairs needed as the stored codes are older than when Honda offered the vehicle for sale. This tells me they either didn't get the vehicle ready for sale or they ignored the codes or didn't inspect the vehicle. Now I'm about $8000 underwater on the vehicle and stuck with the repairs. I won't buy my next car from Honda after this experience. As you can see from the other reviews I'm not the only one that purchased a lemon from Honda of Bay County.

My review is based on a sales experience. Lady met me in the parking lot. She turned out to epitomize the 80/20 rule. 20% of car salespeople are out there hustling and negotiating and making sales, and this lady will always fall into the 80% who has a sad career. I knew the exact car I wanted; it had to be factory ordered. That entire process of factory ordering a car and coming up with a negotiated price for it was completely foreign to her, not a clue in her head about how to work for a factory ordered car. Asked for 3 times for an out-the-door price. Not a clue what I was talking about. Kept saying she couldn't give me a price because the pricing structure would be different when the car arrived. Well, hell, I know that. That's why at every car dealership on the planet, you negotiate a price, have the Sales Manager agree to it and sign it, and when the car shows up you take that day's incentives whether they help you or hurt you. But you STILL had an initial price agreed on for the sale of a car. Then I said, "OK, let's pretend the car is already sitting out there on the lot, what would the out-the-door price be?" She was clueless. Never once did she say anything like, "hey, let's sit for a few minutes and go through some numbers and see if we can meet somewhere amicable, and get that car ordered for you. She's merely banking on the people these days (2021-chip-shortage-etc) who walk in as uneducated as she is and are willing to pay over MSRP, plus all the silly dealer fees that educated people don't pay. Really sad experience. I wish I had the opportunity to talk to the Sales Manager who certainly would have had much more hustle and much more negotiating skill to get to a fair deal. But alas my visit to this dealership was an exercise in wasted time.

The advisor Chad (who I've been religiously taking the car to since I've owned it) told her there was nothing they could do about it and sent her off the lot after paying for the oil change. I have faithfully stayed loyal to Dodge with my maintenance since I've owned this vehicle. There are maintenance records from Dodge from California all the way to Florida. I was in the Navy for 8 years as an aviation mechanic and this was my sole vehicle the entire time. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE AS A MAINTENANCE FACILITY FOR THE MANUFACTURER OF THIS VEHICLE. You will not send my MOTHER of all people on her way with a faulty, half-ass maintenance service. I do this for a living on things that fly in the air! I could not imagine doing a faulty maintenance job and having that product I put out fall out of the sky. This isn't an oopsie situation, this is flat out negligence and immoral as a maintenance team.
