Entrance of the school, double doored with extra security and safety. Staff is always present to check your child in.

I cannot say one bad thing about this school. My daughter has been going for over 18 months now. She started when she was about one, being a English-speaking home I wanted to give my daughter some thing more than just daycare. I met a lady at life Time fitness who had recommended this school. After visiting I enrolled her for a half day after a few months I extended it to a full day as she loved going to school and comes home picking up Spanish words. They keep you updated with lots of photos every hour and let you know what she's eating and what she's doing at the time. The staff has been wonderful and very kind. The owner is always present and knows exactly what's going on with her school. I am planning on keeping my daughter Enrolled all the way until kindergarten. It is worth every penny I have invested in my daughter and it shows with her ever present happiness and knowledge of Spanish as well as potty training and interacting with other kids. She definitely has a head start in life and will be easy to integrate her to an elementary school. Thank you Natalie and Iryma for your great management, as well as Ophelia and all the other staff that help run this amazing facility. The food is exceptional and the hands-on learning they instill in your child is something money can't buy. They also work with your schedule and vacationing so you aren't getting charged while you're not there.

    Birthday celebration BCA style :)

My 9yo daughter went for 2 full weeks (8:00-4:00) and my 5yo son did 2 of their half-days (8:30-1:30). Both kids had a blast this summer! The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. My daughter takes gymnastics classes here, so this camp is just another great service that they offer. Rates are on par with other camps. Electronic devices are prohibited during this active camp, which I think is a great policy! Kids do not need to be plugged in everyday. I like how the kids are grouped by age and each week has a different theme (sports, space exploration, safari, etc.). They do a theme-related craft each day, which is cute. We get a kick out of them, even though some are geared toward a much younger age than my 9yo daughter - we just giggle at those and I tell her how cute she is. She rolls her eyes - it's a lot of fun. They get free play in the little gym from 8:00-8:45 before they break into their age groups. They take a couple of snack breaks (dry snacks provided) and a lunch (parent provides). They go back and forth between the big and little gyms throughout the day, and around pick-up time (4PM), they're usually watching a movie. Sign-in at drop-off and ID check and sign-out at pick-up. You can register week-by-week online. You can uncheck days during the week if you know you won't be sending them every day and only pay for the days they will attend. This worked great when we had a dental appointment scheduled during one of the days, so I only paid for 4 days that week. They have a flexible refund policy too. You can pay an extra $10/day if you need extended care from 4-6 PM. The coach will send you an email the week before camp to introduce themselves and provide camp-specific info. This is a great touch and really helpful for parents to stay informed of procedures and expectations. One tip for them: update your information form that parents fill out to remove the info about swimming, since it's no longer offered during the camp. Other than that, keep doing what you're doing!

First, we were excited about the engagement we had hoped my son would have, he came home with worksheets to practice writing and tracing, we loved that but unfortunately the screen time allowed in this facility is excessive and was creating issues with his sleep habits and ultimately his behavior at home was becoming challenging we believe to be due to the excessive screen time. During the tour we were told the screen in the room was for educational videos and for music to be played for the children to dance to and sing along with. The daily report provided that my son was watching Jack Hartman for teaching American sign language, but the exposure to screen time far exceeded this. My son was coming home stating he had watched cartoons like Cocomelon, chu chu tv, etc. During Halloween my son started to fear jack o lanterns from something they showed the kids, he was even shown the Michael Jackson thriller video which the teacher claims was an "accident" ... after talking to the teacher to figure out what had happened, it became clear that they are just letting YouTube play the next videos without supervising what is being shown. We met with the Asst Director Ms Ashley and the Owner, Dr. Koshi (spelling?) and unfortunately our concerns fell on deaf ears. I wanted to know what the process was for picking these videos that are not educational and why parents aren't being told what their kids are watching and why their daily report is providing false information on what my child is being exposed to. We even reported that on several occasions when picking up our son as the teachers were bringing the kids in from outside that the teachers were asking the kids what they wanted to watch, and kids were asking for spiderman and frozen etc. On several occasions the screen was moved to a corner so that the parents couldn't see what was being shown. During thanksgiving they showed the movie the Wild robot without letting parents know this was going to be shown, the film is rated PG. They also showed them how the Grinch stole Christmas the Jim Carrey film which is also PG. I was never consulted or made aware about what my son would be watching or had watched. The use of the screens and the way the administration handled our concerns is very shady, for the price you pay for childcare and with their claims to be an educational facility to prepare children for school I do not trust that they are a good option for families that care about the quality of care and learning.

But the management was negligent to the point that we no longer felt comfortable leaving our son there for even one more day. We have pulled our son from this program after learning that our son (13 months old) was fed popcorn as a snack. POPCORN! (For those unaware, just google top choking hazards for toddlers) And when I asked the manager, who sets the menus and buys the food, he told me he was not even aware this was a choking hazard. He was so incredibly dismissive and rude about this legitimate safety concern.

We didn't want a league, but rather something where he could build confidence and skills with kids his age. We've done Shooting for Success before, but it was unorganized, communication was terrible, the camp coordinator never made an appearance, AC went out at the gym, and my son didn't seem to grow at all that week. While watching the 12 PM news, we saw the Antonio Daniels Basketball Camp with The Daniels Family Foundation. We immediately registered. This camp is 5 full-days and held at the Cornerstone Christian School's campus off of NW Military & 1604. Perfect for those living on the north side of town and exactly what we were looking for! Antonio Daniels dedicates himself to participating in the camp and connecting with the children THE ENTIRE TIME, which is mind-blowing!! This camp is on-point, y'all! Communication with parents and overall organization of the camp was phenomenal. Their website and Facebook page are current and packed with info. Expectations for parents, campers, and staff was clear from the point of registration and throughout the camp. Camp is M-F from 9AM - 3PM. Lunch is included in the camp's $185 fee, and it's decent food from area restaurant sponsors. Our son also got a camp t-shirt, brought his basketball in to be autographed, received a picture of Antonio to go along with it, and got a photo taken with Antonio too ($15 extra). Campers were grades 1-12, and broken into age/skill appropriate groups. The Cornerstone campus looks like a college campus, so there's plenty of parking and gyms to spread out in. We never saw kids sitting down and doing nothing or playing electronics, like what had happened a lot in another camp we attended (mentioned above). Concession was open for purchasing snacks & drinks during the camp, and was operated by AD's parents-in-law. Facilities are very nice. Antonio did a great job of giving the kids a "word of the day" and motivational message each day, as well as interacting with the kids. We loved watching the last day's All Star games too. AD has done a great job of surrounding himself with very supportive & competent staff members, as well as including his family in this endeavor. The coaching staff is wonderful and my son said he was going to miss Coach Sam most of all! Coach Sam is skilled in basketball, was great with the kids and a great communicator with the parents. The entire coaching staff is very skilled and great with the kids. Our son was sad for the camp to end, but we can't wait until next summer (19th year), when they'll hopefully offer several weeks of camp. Keep up the great work!

The place itself was very cute and it seemed very fun for children. They had a pretty cool facility with a nice playground area and the classrooms looked fun and clean. The programs they had seemed really good and it was surprising to me that they even had daycare for infants. The pricing also seemed fair which they had several options. The only thing that was displeasing was some of the staffs appearances was off. I understand not everyone can dress the part but there was staff that looked like they just rolled out of bed, one guy in a classroom who was the obvious teacher/staff was sitting there rolling and twiddling his hair with the children just looking for his attention. I also noticed a lady who instructed the dance portion of the day had grabbed a little girl by her arm and displayed somewhat of aggression and frustration. Look I get it it's hard watching kids and many at that but it just didn't sit right with me. I don't doubt this place is great I was just turned off and couldn't see myself being secure in dropping my 1 year old here.
