At first Bilal doesn't look that appealing. It's got a flat pack feel to it. Located in a petrol station forecourt with no real Indian authenticity. But don't let that put you off.
Once you taste the food you'll forget that plastic feel and focus on the excellent Indian flavour.
I had chicken Pathia, it was Beaut. Just the right amount of heat without being unbearable. Also plenty of chunks of chicken and sauce left over, perfect for dipping naan.
Price wise it wasn't too bad either, around £25 for 3 mains, 3 sides and 3 extra poppadoms.
We actually ordered in the shop and they had 3 meals sorted and served to us within 20 minutes!
The garage forecourt location actually means there's plenty of parking so even if you're picking up an order placed on the phone you'll find somewhere to throw the car. read more
