I've been going to this studio for as long as it's been open, so 10+ years.
The studio is well run and the instructors have all been excellent.
Many will know that the history of Bikram (the man, not the yoga) has been shoddy over the past few years. The program (the yoga, not the man) that is established, I think is still relevant and provides challenges to those that seek them.
Some will say that this is "NOT Yoga". Then I challenge them to find the purest yoga.
Recently there has been a change of ownership, but that has not diminished the culture that the studio has cultivated and fostered to grow. The studio sees highs and lows, and has adapted to fit the needs. Offering different types of classes (ie: Yin, Astanga, posture clinics and special events). I have seen folks come in and be dedicated, and then fall off, only to come back as the product that the studio offers is a solid one.
I for one, enjoy the studio and I think there are rare times when the instructors aren't at the top of their game. read more
