I can honestly say this yoga studio has been one of the most unexpectedly transformative…read moreexperiences I've had. I originally started coming because I felt like I simply needed to stretch more, but what I found here goes far beyond stretching. Each class feels like a complete reset -- physically, mentally, and emotionally. It's the kind of holistic wellness experience you don't realize you need until you actually go through it. As a medical professional, I deeply appreciate the level of knowledge all of the instructors have when it comes to human anatomy. You can tell the teaching here is rooted in years of study and real understanding of how the body moves, heals, and strengthens. That makes a huge difference, and it's something I personally value a lot when choosing where to practice. The atmosphere in the studio stays very authentic to traditional teaching styles, which creates a calm, grounded environment the moment you walk in. The staff is always friendly, approachable, and welcoming, and the space itself is very comfortable with a large parking lot, reasonable pricing, and plenty of class times that make it easy to fit into a busy schedule. Philip is an amazing teacher. His depth of knowledge, years of practice, and ability to explain movement in a way that makes sense -- and even makes it fun -- is truly special. You can feel how much experience he brings into every 90-minute class, and I always leave feeling better than when I walked in. Highly recommend this studio to anyone looking for more than just a workout. This is real yoga, taught by people who truly understand the body, the mind, and the practice.

I loved it so much I used to work at the front desk in exchange for classes. Sadly I moved too far away and couldn't attend classes very often. The studio went under new ownership, and made some aesthetic changes which I found very nice. The studio is still very clean and homey, as well as organized. I can't speak for all classes or instructors, of course. But tonight I took beginners with Melody who has been there for at least 10 years. She is the real deal! An amazing yoga teacher who can break down poses anatomically, but also has an amazing spiritual presence. I'd be there every week if I lived closer.

One thing to note is that you if go to any Barkan studio, the classes are not transferable so the class I have for their Boca Raton studio can't be used here, but the nice thing about it is if there is any new member special, they'll let you take part in it. I purchased their, "Groupon" special which was for $39 you get 5 classes that have to be used in two months. The classes range from typically 60 minutes to 75 minutes. Barkan specializes in buckram yoga in which the room averages about 102 degrees so if this is your first time- bring water and lots of towels because you're going to sweat. The instructors will walk you through the series of poses, working with you if you have any heath issues which hinder your flexibility or maybe you're like me and just aren't that flexible at all and need help. They will let you use their bricks during class to help ease the positions. You can also rent mats, purchase water, and clothing there as well. My instructor Amanda was great and really pushed you to the limit, but you felt amazing afterward. I worked so hard in the class that I almost fell asleep immediately when I got home. The classes are challenging. The rooms fill up quickly so get there early so you have space for your mat, but definitely check it out and you'll get a great workout.

In November 2025, just hours after signing my divorce papers, I had an astrology reading with Angela. That session became a turning point in my life. Instead of feeling like I needed to change who I was, I learned to embrace who I truly am. She helped me understand the experiences and energies that have shaped my life and reminded me that I have a voice, something meaningful to share, and that it was time to start using it. Since then, I have continued my yoga practice, and Zen Vida remains one of my favorite studios. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and full of positive energy. Every class leaves me feeling calmer, stronger, more grounded... and usually a little sweaty like I am today after Angela's hot yoga class! Over the past year, I've overcome personal challenges, closed important chapters, and I'm now starting a new career where I'll be using my voice to educate, empower, and serve my community. I truly believe that becoming more aligned with myself played a big role in getting here. Thank you, Angela, for sharing your gift and for being such an important part of my journey. And thank you to everyone at Zen Vida for creating a space where people can heal, grow, and reconnect with themselves. I still have to try the cold plunge and sauna, but they're definitely next on my list!
