Came here for my friend's birthday per the recommendation of our friends. We sat at a table and had the 2 servers both walk past us numerous times. One finally came up to us but did not take our order and did not return to do so. We eventually went up to the bar and received quick, rushed service. DO NOT GO HERE! Wish I would've seen these reviews before we went. Manager/owner whatever she is, is barely human. Yelled at us for walking in the door at 7pm! Told us there was a private party tho there were no signs advising anyone. She sat there played pool so the poor bartender had to do everything herself. Just clarifying a little here. They are required to verify valid IL drivers license or ID. They do not record information rather the app provides that the license is not a fake and that it is current. No collection of information or storage. They are required to do so by the village. I play pool there on week nites and enjoy it very much. The waitress are very nice and make sure all of us are attended to well. The tables are kept in good condition and re-felted often. read more

We came in with my mom tonight that has MS. Denied service and the bouncer yelled " don't kick our this lady with the disease! " It was completely sickening and they should be shut down. The manager, who I found out later was the owner had zero compassion and this plce is probably the biggest piece of shit bar you can imagine. The staff is very rude. The owner was being a hawk to my group of friends for no reason. When my girlfriend and her friend went to buy shots for themselves, she asked if it was for the boys (my group of friends). Then at closing we were all leaving, they locked the door behind us, and as we were waiting for an Uber to come pick is up, the bouncer felt obligated to unlock the door, come out and yell at the Uber driver that he wasn't allowed to pick people up in front of their place. I went on Saturday, the bartender ( older lady) asked for my ID, she scanned my ID, she asked if i had a different ID because my ID was expired. I thought it expired next year. Then she said with an attitude "I cant believe you are even driving like this." Anyway, i showed a valid military ID and a FOID CARD, wich has my birthday, she said she couldn't scan it. Then she said i couldn't be in the building. She was very unprofessional. Also my sister in law was there, she over charged her on her bill, and she gave attitude to her friends. This is not a "bar and grill", they do not "grill" anything and the food selection consists of about five items. Went with the intention of playing pool on a Thursday night around 9:00. When we met up with our friends, two were kicked out after the owner felt their valid state IDs were not to her liking. I'm 27 and have never been treated so badly by any establishment ever. She made up some lie about a time period in the town where two weeks after a birthday requiring a renewal of an ID, it's no longer valid. Really? I thought IDs were valid until the expiration date. She then told another one of my friends it was two weeks. I would not recommend this place to anyone. We went to the bar next door and had a lovely time and played pool there instead. We will not be returning to bikini bottom, the place of made up rules and no grill. read more

Been here a few times to play pool. That is the draw for me. That's also where it ends. Drinks are moderately priced but I have a feeling I paid for top shelf and got served well (by now I know my booze, albeit sadly). That aside the ladies room was clean. Place was neat, lots of younger people in their twenties, but not enough to make this thirty-something uncomfortable. Music was at a good level, I could still hear my friends. Staff was friendly. I came here with my cousins from Puerto Rico, trying to show them a good time. They had Puerto Rican IDs (valid US documents). The girl behind the bar took a quick look at the IDs and quickly pushed them back saying she needed passports. I asked why and tried to explain that Puerto Rico is part of the United States.. but she cut me off, rolled her eyes and went to her "bouncer/manager" to verify. She came back and repeated that she needed passports. My cousins, whom were now upset and uncomfortable, showed the bartender their USA passports... the bartender couldn't even read the passport and took forever to verify it. She was so unprofessional and ignorant throughout it all. We were ready to have a few drinks, play some pool and have a good time, but instead, your actions have lost my business and if you continue, I guarantee you'll lose others. Teach your staff a quick geography lesson so they don't come off as uneducated as they did. Even on a busy night I am always quickly attended to. It's a great place to hang out and play some pool, darts, beer pong, and bags. Pretty much whatever you're into. I also enjoy how involved they are with local charities and the community. It's rare these days to find an establishment who still tries to give back. Staff is very friendly and aware of all the goings-on in their place. Makes it a much more relaxed experience. Definitely my go to spot from now on. I've been going here for roughly a month now and tonight ( Sunday 6/13) they were running a tournament or something, with the only person running the place was the bartender who was more interested in playing darts than finding a table for us to play on. She asked me to go ask one of the guys running the tournament who it was obvious did not work there, about getting an available table. I have lived in the Dundee Area for 27 years since this building was a Ben Franklin store, and the customer service was terrible. it usually is, in fact, but there are usually far less people there. I will probably think twice about ever going back and wouldn't be surprised if others feel the same way if this is how others are treated when they come in. read more
