It was a wonderful way to see Amsterdam from the water, and the cruise was just the right length; plenty of time to enjoy the sights without feeling rushed. A special thanks to the excellent office staff, who were extremely helpful in arranging our cruise. They were also incredibly patient in helping us find the departure location, especially since Apple Maps and Google Maps couldn't seem to agree on where it was! Our captain was friendly, entertaining, and made everyone feel welcome and comfortable. He really added to the experience. The boat itself was a little more basic than some of the others we saw on the canals, and for the price, I think we could have gotten a bit more. That said, we certainly weren't disappointed. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves, and several of us tipped the captain at the end. Overall, a very pleasant experience made even better by the excellent staff and personable captain. While the boat may not have been the best value among Amsterdam's many canal cruise options, the friendly service made it a memorable evening. 4 1/2 stars.

Captain Lee and her first mate Pixie provided for a very memorable experience during our October 2025 cruise. She gave us some valuable tidbits of Dutch, local, and cinematic (Amsterdamned for the movie trivia score) history. She also gave us relevant information about local current events and social movements. Captain Lee was funny, yet also notably well-informed. All in all, this was one of the highlights of our trip.

Completely my mistake and I am eternally grateful for the help he provided to me. Beyond that our guide, Maria, was amazing! She was friendly, warm, thoughtful. knowledgeable and professional. She thought of everything. She even got a picture of the group together. She gave the tour wearing her own pair of clogs. She knew the history and purpose of every windmill. She gave helpful suggestions. She was patient with all of us. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone. I would go in it again if I ever return to Amsterdam.

Our guide and driver were very friendly and had such great senses of humor! The guide was knowledgeable of the history of the area and showed us many points of interest. During the tour I felt safe- she reminded us to drink plenty of water and to mind our personal belongings. We took an Uber from our hotel out to the "Scooter Experience" and was dropped off, and was warmly welcomed. We were offered a coffee, and then given a short demo on how to ride the scooter. These are electric scooters with a high speed of 25 mph. They are really quiet, which I was thrilled about, as you can enjoy the beauty of the trail without having to listen to a loud motor. There are four different routes that you can choose from. We choose the "yellow" route which was the shortest of the four. You are given a map along with verbal instructions. You are to follow the route looking for your color of arrow to guide you along the way. You can take as long or as fast as you want but you have to be back at the start no later than 6:00pm. You are given a jacket, gloves, scarf, and stocking hat if you didn't bring yours, and if you feel like you need to bundle up. It was a cold raining day so we bundled up, and headed out. After a slow start we were finally out of the village, and were on our way......so much fun. The scenery is absolutely beautiful traveling through the country side. We were alone for a lot of the trail running into a few people here and there. It was pure heaven. Because it was cold and raining. We didn't meander but hurried through the trail only stopping a few times to take in the beauty. When I go back to The Netherlands I will make sure I book another "Scooter Experience" but a longer one next time:)

Upgraded both bikes and hotel rooms and we were super happy. Got nice lightweight roadbikes to make the pedaling easy. Holland has few hills but they do have wind so good bikes are appreciated. All the hotel rooms were nice and lovely. Gps routing worked perfectly. Almost the entire route (~200 miles) was on paved bike paths. Had to skip a day of riding because of excessive winds and they transported the bikes for us. We opted to get to the next location by bus and taxi so that we could still explore along the way. Would definitely go with them again.
