The merchandise inside The Art of Disney spans across many different Disney franchises. Some of the art work include pieces from Snow White and the Seven Dwarves to even Frozen and Moana! You can also find collectibles such as pins or keychains. The store also offers customization services, allowing you to create personalized artwork with your favorite Disney characters!! It's super cool! Unfortunately, the store doesn't offer direct shipping to your house. There is a separate service called Disney Parks Merchandise Mail order. You can use this service to order merchandise over the phone and have it shipped to your house. The prices may vary though compared to in-store on mail order. Our experience was relaxed, fun and seamless from beginning to end. We arrived at our scheduled time and were greeted warmly by the "front of house" staff. I am terrible with names, but the gentleman walked us through all of the pieces that we could choose from. There are so many! I thought for sure that I already knew what I wanted to make, but once you see them all in front of you, with so many different and cool color palettes, it's really hard to choose. I was leaning towards a serving tray since I love cooking and hosting, but ultimately chose a planter (again, I can't remember the name). They had storm troopers and sneakers, so I thought Ty would choose one of those, but he opted for a car. That was still very on-brand for him and I'm sure that they have something that will appeal to each and every person, no matter your interests. We chose our color palettes and sipped bubbly (an available add-on) while we waited for our projects to be set-up in the back. Once they were ready, we proceeded to the back portion of the store, got our aprons on, and got paired with Lima who led us through our projects. She was fun and upbeat, and hadn't started there very long ago, but we couldn't tell. Step-by-step, she led us through the project, but still allowed us our individuality to create. She was amazing. She took pictures of us at the end to commemorate our time there. As a bonus, we were also able to make coasters that we took home with us that day. We were visiting from out of state and our projects wouldn't be dry in time, so we had them shipped. They were running a special for half-off shipping, so both projects shipped to our home for $25. I'm not sure that was really a deal, because if they were both going to be shipped to the same address in the same box, I just think that should've been the regular cost. Does that make sense? Also, there was a code on their website for 50% your canvas, and to be clear, that only applies to canvases. I thought "canvas" was being used as a broader term for whatever "canvas" you choose to do your artwork on, but no. A planter, car, tray or wall art are categorized as such, and a canvas is a canvas (just a heads up). The pricing ranges from affordable to expensive, so I think the value is reasonable. There were a lot of options available within the range that we were willing to spend. You get to have a fun experience and have the artwork to show for it at the end. Our pieces arrived two days ago in perfect condition. The packing was immaculate and we love our pieces. Would definitely return again if we're in the area and were given punch cards for that purpose. We frequent Florida and after 5 punches, you earn yourself a free project!

The lowest price a giclee will run you is around $1500. If you're looking for an original piece, add a few more grand onto the price tag. The employees here are wonderful. They know each piece of art very well and can tell you all about the various artists. I stopped into the Stave Church Gallery in the Norway Pavilion at Epcot, and it ended up being one…read moreof those little experiences that's easy to miss, but actually worth a few minutes of your time! From the outside, the gallery building was impressive! it was a beautiful replica of an old, about 1200 A.D., traditional Norwegian stave church. The details on the exterior of the building were beautiful. The wood carvings and architectural detail are very interesting when viewed up close. I have passed by this gallery building many times and didn't realize that you can actually enter the gallery. This may be another "hidden gem" for guests at Epcot! There is a relatively short exhibit to walk through that mainly focuses on Norse Mythology specifically the Vikings. The exhibit mainly revolves around some of the main Viking Gods like Thor, Loki & Freyja. Since the exhibit is somewhat small, this exhibit can be walked through fairly quickly. However, the exhibit has been well built out. A large piece of the exhibit is centered around an array of carved figures, as well as several artifacts and exhibits explaining various aspects of Norse Mythology. This exhibit is certainly more educational then entertaining, however, I feel like it was a nice little "mini-museum" type experience within the larger park. One of the things I liked about it is that it's an opportunity to take a break from the crowds! It was cool inside, air conditioned, and gave me time to relax for a little while. Many guests make their way right over to Frozen Ever After next door, as a result, this area can get overlooked! I'm glad I took the time to check it out. It's a cool, low key experience that adds a little depth to the Norway Pavilion!

We were disappointed by what we saw inside the building - a single small room with a few artifacts (real or replicas?) with attached stories (ancient Viking myths or Disney movie plots?). Somehow Disney lost us here but during our short visit, we completely missed the story of the cultural significance of the Stave Church. We later learned that the word stave refers to an architectural style using vertical wood posts known as staves. Stave churches were medieval wood churches that date back to Norway 1100s and the EPCOT Stave Church Gallery is a replica of the Gol Stave Church that was built in the 1200s.

And once again, I absolutely LOVE it. I came in with my ideas (and some typical AI mockups), and Oscar took the general concept and turned it into something so much better. The way the olive branch wraps and flows around my wrist is gorgeous, and you would never know there was an old tattoo underneath it. At this point, going to see Oscar and his wife feels more like catching up with friends than going to a tattoo appointment. The first day is crammed with bloggers and vloggers, and they are still working out the kinks in the kitchens so the food lines were long and we did not end up getting to try as much as we wanted, so we made plans to come again before the festival ended. That was a great decision, as the food, especially the desserts have gotten even better over the years. We love the Animation Academy and make plans to attend both sessions. And enjoy looking at the art and occasionally bring home a piece. This year we got a piece called Cheeky Tiki with the Orange Bird. The only disappointment was this year's Festival Treat. The Figment Rice Crispy was way too sweet and not worth the effort.

I oooh'd and ahhh'd as I walked past collectibles, figurines, sculptures, exclusive keepsakes, framed prints, paintings, souvenir postcards, artwork, Christmas ornaments and many more all Disney-inspired. At the same token I oooh'd and ahhh'd at the prices of each item. This store was for the serious Disney collector. Towards the front of the store there was an artist on location at work. It was actually pretty cool watching him work his magic putting life on a white sheet of paper. As I continued to walk around I came upon a glass case displaying Disney Princesses. I fell in love with the princess figurines as I have a few in my collection. I stopped collecting them as my daughters grew up. Now I just collect memories from our travels. They have all kinds of different art pieces with of course a Disney theme. Pretty much every Disney character and Disney park is represented in artwork inside the store. If you don't see a character you want there are even machines where you can pull up art pieces that you can have custom made. They pretty much always have an artist on site who is doing sketches where you can watch and see how it's done. This is especially awesome if you want to buy a piece and ensure that it was handmade you can literally buy the piece the artist is working on. All of the large framed art pieces come with certificates of authenticity so you can be sure your piece will hold its value over time. Recently they've also started to include some of the pieces from a variety of different artists that are also at Disney Springs so they're a little more fun and Whimsical than your standard art pieces you may be used to seeing from Disney. They also sell almost everything in a print so it's definitely a lot cheaper than an original piece of art. So there's something for every budget inside the store.
