I showed the lady exactly how I wanted my nails done by explaining and also with pictures. She shaped them perfect. I got glitter polish and then she dipped each nail in a jar of loose glitter which enhanced the nails. She then put clear polish on top but because of the loose powder the manager told her she should have put uv gel. The clear polish gave a smokey ice effect which was ugly. She added more clear and then put me back under dryer which had the same effect. She was able to fix it by just adding uv gel but it left a bumby coat that ruined the fresh set. She would have had to drill everything off and start over. Didn't want to wait but will go back in couple days to get it fixed and the manager said no charge. If it hadn't been for clear polish these nails would have been awesome!

I initially caught wind of this place through word of mouth particular to a pro stylist named Valerie Torres. Val's specialty is haircuts, color, and highlights based on the style you're looking for. While it's a little salon, the place appeared fairly busy on each visit so appointments are recommended. What I liked most about the experience is that Val is very down to earth and focused on meeting the expectations of your cut and/or color. I needed all over color and highlights (premature grey be damned!). While this isn't a particularly a tall order, I was looking for a different style to keep the weight out of my hair and to freshen up my look for work. Val and I talked it over and came up with a look that exceeded my expectations. In short, I found a stylist who was on time, courteous, eager to work with me to come up with a style that I really liked. Best of all? For an all over color, cut, highlights and low lights, the cost was very reasonable. I would strongly recommend calling ahead for an appointment and booking with Val. You'll be pleased that you did!

It said the card would be charged when the prints were done or maybe it was when they were picked up. When my uncle went to the store to pick up the photos, he was told they had a balance that he had to pay. Fortunately, he refused and left the store, calling me to tell me what happened. I called the store and spoke to an extremely rude sales clerk. I get it. Nobody wants to work so stores are hurting and can't get good help. Or maybe having too many Walgreens in each town has depleted the labor pool. Anyway, the Store Manager on duty got on the phone and confirmed the photos were supposed to be charged to my credit card -- the clerk just needed to select "Express pay". After we hung up, the manager took it upon herself to call my uncle at the number on the order. She told him what happened and dropped the pictures at his home after her shift. Things happen but Customer Service is about how these issues are handled. I appreciate what the manager did and will continue to use that store when sending hard copy photos.
