Amazing Indian food ! My husband got Tandoori Chicken, and I got the beef curry. They were both delicious! We also ate with Naan, highly recommended! Definitely go back again!

This place is a gem!!! Best food in Lincoln for sure. Delicious homemade Indian food, a thousand times better than the oven. I also had the samosas and mango lassi which were great too.

Delicious Indian food (that's not very spicy) inside the Valero gas station! It's available only on Fridays for a few hours each for lunch and dinner. The Facebook page has the menu you can check out before heading over. Lines are long but the food is worth it! It's made for the taste of the locals (i.e. not spicy), but the flavor is still delish. The owner is super nice as well, so come support this family business and check out the food! You won't regret it!

Real authentic flavor with some American influence. Even the rice reminds me of my time in India.

I'm really confused. Do you only have food on Friday?

My experience: they have home made soup and rice every day, entrees on Friday. Delicious either way.

Love the food, service is mediocre at best…read more Loved the tandoori shrimp with poratta as Dan Hoppen suggests, making a taco with the chutney. Butter chicken, naan, etc. were delicious as well as the cocktails. The problem here is the food is amazing and the service is poor. The first time we came here we waited for 30+ minutes PAST our reservation time and were never seated. We were not even offered water or a drink, we asked for the manager and never saw one, and stormed out. We waited a year and went back due to people raving about this place and had a OK time, not the best Indian food in the area but a fresh take, OK service. This trip was back to a less than ideal experience. Waited 15 minutes from seating to get a drink order. Didn't even see wait staff telling us they'd be with us soon. I expected this knowing this place is all good food and poor service, so no surprise. We were greeted AS IF this was totally normal, get your table and wait 15 minutes, so no apologies or acknowledgement that we'd even been sitting and waiting. Quickly ordered drinks apps and the meal proceeded as expected, with a more regular pace. At the end of the meal we want a box, to pay and leave. Again, waiting for a long time with no wait staff helping us. I love the food but you can honestly get better Indian food for WAY less money a mile away, and the staff doesn't treat you like you need them and they don't need you. Atmosphere is decent, but didn't have music playing even though they have speakers I can see. The cost of the restaurant does not match the delivery on the service or ambiance. Not sure if the staff is underpaid, or the leadership doesn't honor quality front of house, but it's a total mismatch. We had 2 sets of silverware and one was rolled normal like, the other was rolled up like 6 inches differentiation because of the poor and inconsistent preparation of the silverware/napkin. This would not fly at most every cheap-o restaurant, but apparently here that's what you get. It really seemed like the staff didn't really care. The price point doesn't match the service. Good food, be prepared to wait and expect you're paying for the food not the service.

Third time here and as before the food is top notch. Probably the best Indian food in town…read more What had change is a dramatic increase in the overall professional feel to the service. Kudos to the owners for training up your staff. We sat at the bar and the service was great. The rest of the room was being tended to promptly as well. We were really impressed!

Bawarchi Indian Cuisine…read more *Chicken Tikka Masala - medium heat *Chicken Masala Fries - mild heat *Chicken Tikka Korma - medium heat *Butter Chicken - mild heat *Garlic Naan Bawarchi has quickly become my favorite Indian restaurant, and I crave it all day, every day!! Chicken Tikka Masala has always been my favorite dish, but I tried my sisters' and mom's dishes, and I loved them both!! Honestly, if you try any of my recommendations, this is the one I would say to try! The inside is more of a nice casual vibe and our waiter was super sweet! I 100% recommend going!!

I love Indian food. That being said, I hate spicy food. I specifically make sure I order the least…read morespicy level when ordering from anywhere. Bawarchi didn't give me an option to do that for delivery, so I made special instructions notes on everything "not spicy" - I did what I could to prevent it from being too spicy for me. Unfortunately, that's exactly what happened. Butter chicken is as safe as an Indian food you can get to avoid spice, it's usually not spicy at all and just creamy. I took one bite of this and knew it was inedible for me. Way too spicy. I was very bummed. I got chicken tikka momos which are a weekend special, I'm very confused if they gave me normal ones or what because inside it was completely normal looking chicken, not seasoned, no sauce.. and they also were a little spicy, tolerable at least but still didn't taste at all like chicken tikka. I also had the samosas and I did think they were good and honestly the only reason I gave it any stars. It's still a little spicy but again tolerable enough that I was able to eat them. A little expensive at over $7 for two. Lastly I got the egg dosa. It's advertised as "fluffy eggs inside crepe" but I literally couldn't tell if they even gave me an egg dosa or a regular one. There was no fluffy eggs, no flavor, no anything. Extremely disappointing. Overall, I probably would not try again. If I'm explicitly writing not spicy and it's still so spicy I can't even eat it, there's something wrong. I've eaten plenty of Indian food where the spice level is fine and there is no reason for me to worry it'll be inedible but sadly this is not one of those places Threw my money and this food in the trash. What a waste. :(
