Don't discount this delicious food inside a convenience store! In May 2021 we were traveling through and stopped here for a quick, warm to-go meal. Another of Lincoln's hidden gem restaurant-in-a-convenience-store. Flavor and value get five stars unequivocally for me. Incredibly delicious and fragrant, not very spicy which is a plus for the spice-haters in my house. Some of the best rice I've ever eaten, truly. Knocking it down to a 4 average is the inconvenience. The parking situation is not the best, it's usually CRAZY busy on Fridays, the main day, so you're gonna be standing in line for a hot minute. I would go way more often if I knew it wouldn't be crowded because this is some seriously delicious food, definitely the best Indian in town since the Oven started letting itself go. read more

Delicious Indian food (that's not very spicy) inside the Valero gas station! It's available only on Fridays for a few hours each for lunch and dinner. The Facebook page has the menu you can check out before heading over. Lines are long but the food is worth it! It's made for the taste of the locals (i.e. not spicy), but the flavor is still delish. The owner is super nice as well, so come support this family business and check out the food! You won't regret it! read more

I have been meaning to visit this place for a long time and finally got around to it. The food here is very authentic North Indian food - i tried the Punjabi Chicken ghee roast with naan , rice and samosa and it was a feast ! The chicken was melt in the mouth and so tender ! They do this every Friday and the menu changes every week - which I think is a positive. read more

In all honesty, the flavor of the food here is not half bad. My sincerest problem was the portion size. As you can see, two pieces of chicken with some naan is what you get for $10. In my opinion, take business to Kurry Xpress or The Oven where you can get a lunch portion for $10 with larger portions, more food, and the ambiance of a restaurant rather than a gas station. I can't believe this place is inside a gas station! Great people making homemade food every day. They have soup and rice Monday to Thursday and entrées on Fridays. They always have a vegetarian option which is awesome. There's also a couple of tables if you want to eat in. The place is very clean and the staff is friendly and welcoming. I have been hearing great reviews about this place and when a colleague had heard the same & offered to pick up lunch today, I couldn't pass it up. We pulled up seemingly as several other cars did at lunch time all heading for the serving counter. The friendly woman behind the counter offered a small plate to try the 3 dishes prepared that day for sample. While I'm not a vegetarian but do love vegan & vegetarian dishes, I enjoy that they offer a vegetarian option! It can be difficult that at restaurants sometimes. The dish I ended up for my meal today was the Odisha Fish Curry. The fish was mild and light but took in some great flavor from the sauce. It was very well complimented with the pickled carrots & onion mixture on top of a bed of rice. You do also have a choice if you want naan instead of rice (or if you want both, it was just an extra charge). Then I also did notice an area where there was a couple side items (today it was samosas and an aloo type side item) if you wanted to buy them. You have got to try this place! Absolutely every bit was delicious. Perfectly cooked with a complement of rice with just enough spice. We have stopped eating at other restaurants because they over spice the food and you can't really taste it. Their great cooking shown though with just the right amount. This place is incredible. I've had the yellow lentil soup a handful of times, & it's delicious. Highly recommend going on a Friday for lunch. She makes a coconut curry shrimp soup that is amazing. Her appetizers are also delicious - today I had a vegetable samosa & a potato dumpling thing that had a cheese filling w/ the best chutney for a dipping sauce. I've only been there once. I sampled both the Silk Chicken and the Chili Cauliflower. Both were excellent, I went with the Cauliflower and it was amazing. Tried the aloo croquettes as well, also extremely good. They cook the food in small batches so it's hot and fresh. This is some of the best Indian food I've ever had. read more

Excellent home made Indian food (take-out; inside a Valero gas station). The hot meals are only available on Fridays for lunch and dinner. There are usually three options; two meat and one vegetarian. We often get this for lunch at work and share all three family style. We're never had anything that we didn't like! The side of onions and carrots that comes with each entree is a great addition as is the tamarind chutney. The food isn't spicy. The flavors are different from the other Indian restaurant in town.
