I sent a request on yelp to have a new driveway and some pavers for an entertainment area. I got a few responses. Bighorn responded pretty fast.
Caleb send me a text asking to meet in person. I gave him my address and made an appointment for Tuesday around noon. I was having a water softener installed, and some. Garage door installers come by. So I kept myself busy. Caleb just didn't show up or call or send any notifications.
Wednesday morning morning, I sent him a text asking why he didn't show up to the appointment. His response, which ice cream shot the text was that he plainly forgot. Nothing else just...' sorry I forgot' . I know this happens, and though not happy with it, he requested to see me Wednesday at 5 PM. I switched my schedule around to make sure I should be there at 5 PM. At about 2:30 PM, I get a text from Caleb that he was not going to make it. In this text, he said he got a call on an emergency waterline repair.
Though he did apologize as you can see the text, there was nothing about following up and rescheduling, so I replied that I have enough enough that he doesn't have to worry about coming out.
Forgetting an appointment, and then canceling the next one... I can only imagine what kind of Customer Service or follow up there would be. Especially Incase there's an issue. This is going to be a huge job with about 600 ft.² of pavers, and maybe 1000 ft.² of driveway cement/decomposed granite.
I'm not sure if bighorn is a startup as there are no other reviews and a limited number of pictures from his work. But you cannot forget an appointment and not show up. read more
