This business is one of the most convenient to get to for people who live in Albany, as a lot of the other businesses are out by Wolf Rd. or in Latham. The business is run out of the owner's home, so a lot of those extra factors that result in higher costs at larger businesses are avoided, resulting in a very reasonable price. It's $20 for each 15 minutes (not sure if the price changes as you increase the amount of time per session). Other places in the area can be up to $45 per 15 minute treatment. My upper lip and chin were done in 15 minutes, and between my eyebrows was another 15 minutes because I have a lot of hair there. The process was very quick. Highly recommended! I will definitely be going back.

This place is a scam they tried charging me $400 for a massage. Then this old lady comes out and…read moresays she is going to give me my "Massage" LOL she tugged she pulled then she rubbed and tugged and nothing this old hag couldn't massage a goat. Then to top it off she asked me for a "Happy ending" I said the ending was happy enough LOL don't waste your time. It's weird going into a home and even weirder when the son is there peeping in while your changing. Don't waste your time its like an episode of American Gypsy this lady does Massages, Electrolysis, Zumba, and will probably marry you if the price is right. STAY AWAY!!!!!

My daughter joined two of her friends for mani/pedi and a craft a couple of weeks ago on Saturday…read moreat 2pm. Each friend had a gift card. One was for $40 and the other for $30 plus she paid $12 out of pocket to have the same services. I didn't have a gift card and was charged $45 for the same services. I was told I had to pay for the package price, made no sense and that was the first strike against them. There was one staff member, I believe the owner, that took care of the three girls. I saw one other staff member taking care of one girl. On a Saturday there were two people to run the salon. Strike number two. The girls waited, and waited. They were restless and bored waiting their turn and it took at least 90 minutes or more to finish the services, and we were at the salon for nearly two hours. Strike three. Nothing special about the polish job, I could've done better. It's not a real mani/pedi, they are just soaking feet and polishing finger and toe nails. The water in my daughter's tub was cold and they had to get hot water from a faucet in back. My child is 9, perhaps the targeted age here is 5 to 8? You can dress up and do karaoke, pay for overpriced toys and dress up outfits and enjoy non-nutritious snacks. The salon is colorful and girly and will appeal to most any girl. We have no desire to return, a much better mani/pedi can be had at Rainbow Nails for a fraction of the cost.

I would rate zero for the UNETHICAL BEHAVIOR OF THIS BUSINESS…read more I purchased a Groupon special for a pedicure for Young Life Spa one time previously. I handed my current Groupon Voucher to the woman and she said WE DO NOT TAKE GROUPON. I informed her that I paid for the service . She then kept repeating NEW OWNER! NEW OWNER! Same location, same name, same furniture and equipment and no sign indicating ownership change or of new policy of non acceptance of GROUPON. She said I could pay for the service. I told her I already did. She told me to call GROUPON! This business wasted my time and gas and I received nothing for the service I clearly paid for. I will be sharing this absolute worst case of customer service ever! PS I have filed a claim with Groupon and also a disputed charge with American Express for services not received. The CEO of American Express has been notified of my claim.
