He was also able to schedule me for an appointment very quickly. Unfortunately, my car sustained some mold and mildew from a leak. Cheverolet repaired it and recommended Motorcity Detailing to me. When I asked for ONE singular WASH, the girl tried signing me up for a subscription. I told her I did not want a subscription and she said she's not "putting me on any subscription" but rather "they just need to have my card on file and license plate" to serve me. So I went with it and believed I was purchasing a single wash. One month later, I was hit with a $40 charge on my card for their subscription. Without consent they will sign you up for a subscription. I called 2 times to try and get it resolved and every time they said "they'll look into it." I then drove 3.5hrs to Huntsville just to ask in person about getting it resolved. One of the OWNERS said "well look into it" and nothing has happened. No refunds or anything. It's all lip service. If you do not want a subscription, do not go to Tommy's. They're only looking for repeat customers through a subscription program and don't honor single washes. There's 20 other washes in the area who will happily honor a one time wash, not force a subscription.

I finally gave them a call to try to set up an appointment and was informed that they "don't book online anymore." That's problematic since their website says nothing about that and directs visitors to an online booking page that lets you submit all your details and then tells you someone will reach out to you. In the course of trying to set up the appointment over the phone I was asked to repeat myself about 10 times before I just gave up and hung up the phone. Not sure if the guy on the phone was busy doing something else or just had headphones in or what. Anyway, found another service locally that I was able to book with online within about 60 seconds of getting to their website. Couldn't speak to how well they clean cars, but it if it's anything like how the book appointments I'd assume you're going to be disappointed with that as well.

A couple of moments of goodness, the guys did push my side mirrors in prior to entering the wash and they offered me a complimentary towel, and actually tossed two my way, they are like lint free paper towels. A thoughtless customer was BLARING her car stereo which all the vacuums would not drown out. It was sooooooooo annoying. You would think the company would put up signs stating 'do not blare your music morons!' like the goo goo does on south parkway. The vacuums are no where near the quality of the drive thru car wash near the "new" Wal Mart on 72 west near County line. And the place was generally run down. The staff at the other place by wal mart are way friendly, offering to help in any way, for example they will offer to run your mats thru the cleaner, free of charge. If you love listening to other peoples taste in music at way over the normal Marshal amp at a Metallica concert volume, enjoy paying for add-ons that you don't know what you're getting and using vacuums that increase the time you are exposed to extremely loud music of other people's selection because you have to re-vacuum the same spot a million times, you've got your new place.
