Came here to get a trailer, after being quoted several hundred dollars more from Back 40 trailers in Kerrville. Apparently, this is considered a factory store as opposed to an actual dealer. I was a little surprised, as there weren't that many tools in the back (we needed channel locks to put on a different safety chain, and they didn't even have a second pair of them). The staff is friendly and attentive - there are only 3 people here - Wes, another gentleman whose name I forgot, and Mary Jane at the front/receptionist. I ordered a single axle, but wanted trailer brakes on it. It took about a week to get my trailer and a month and a half to get my title and metal plate. I also ordered a spare tire, but I was dismayed that nobody told me the spare would be a bias tire (when the trailer comes with radials). I ended up getting a radial spare with rim from my local tire guy for about 6 bucks cheaper than Big Tex sold me the bias spare, and Wes happily refunded my money (since I never used the spare). All in all, I would come back here again when I'm ready to upgrade to a bigger/longer trailer. read more
