Fantastic place for local beer!!…read more My wife and I stopped by this place while visiting the area. Wow! For a small local downtown shop, this place has a fantastic collection of Michigan brewed beers. Some refrigerated, some on the shelf, and nearly everything available as a single bottle, they seemed to showcase the best beer Michigan has to offer. I'll admit, I went into the store looking for beer, but they also have a great selection of local wines and other products specific to Michigan. This is definitely going to be a stop on our next trip to MI!!

Dined there for dinner on 6/9. Ordered an olive burger (LOVE, LOVE, LOVE olives!). Flavor was good…read more The problem was WAY too much sauce (mayo, anything else?) mixed with the olives. Couldn't finish the sandwich because by the time I got to 1/3 left it was a sopping ball of goo. I probably should have scooped at least half of it off before I attempted to eat it. I Left it in the basket with a few onion rings (which were very good!) Too wet to finish. I recommend WAY less mayo to the establishment. I swear they applied at least 1/4 cup of mayo in the sauce for my (single) burger. Flavor was very good, but the sauce volume prevented me from finishing it. Regarding service: It was awesome. Bartender was knowledgeable and attentive. She knew what she was doing. I recommend sticking to beer if you are drinking. I ordered gin and tonics and got their own gin ("Hard Nose Gin"). It did not appear to resemble a traditional gin, but the description describes it as "juniper-forward". It was alright, but not my choice. I stopped by the night before and had a couple of pints of the Blood Orange Blonde, which was EXTREMELY good. I have never tried any of their other beers, but, given my experience, there appears to be a lot of promise there. Overall, a very good experience. I recommend. I still think they need to cut down the sauce on their olive burger - by a lot. But the flavor was very good. And the burger was cooked to my liking. I will definitely visit again. I get to the Lansing area a few times a year, and I'll be back.

The food description on the menu looked amazing and it look nice coming out but the flavors were a miss. The chicken potstickers were like anything I could thaw from Sam's Club. One side was browned and the other two soggy and cool. The Italian sausage and burrata flatbread tasted of nothing but pesto. We are pesto fans but not to overpower all the other possible flavors. The grilled Asian Prime Skirt steak was tough and short on flavor. There were more cold vegetables and cabbage than rice. The ginger rice was cool and not ginger like at all. Very beautiful building with a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.
