We had called a few other dentist in the area and none were able to accept us on such short notice and accordingly to our schedule. Fortunately, we found this clinic who was willing to do an urgent exam and treat my sons dental pain. Dr Cattron was super sweet and friendly. He explained everything so well and made my son feel extremely comfortable. He prescribed antibiotics and even followed up with his cell-phone number if we needed further care during our out-of-state trip. Chealeen was the assistant who was very kind and pleasant. In fact, all the ladies at the front dest were all very helpful and helped provide paperwork we needed to file for billing reimbursements. The entire group seems to work well together and communicate with each other very well. They all made sure our needs were met! To top it off, Dr Cattron wanted to do an X-ray on the tooth & considering we were traveling & paying out of pocket, he didn't even charge us for it. Would definitely recommend this dentist to anyone in the area!

I took a call from a lawyer while in their lobby (before we went in to the exam rooms). I also took a picture of my grandchild in the exam room. I took the picture of my grandson because they handed him a dentist on a stick for a contest they are doing and said it was to take hold up and take pictures of with the child where ever they went and post to their Facebook page. I thought ok, we will start with the dentist) Instead of explaining to me their policy of no pictures in the exam rooms at the time, they trapped me and my grandchild at the exit of their clinic and demanded my phone from me so they could delete the picture. When I said no and said I was leaving they stood between my grandchild and me preventing us from leaving. I felt very threatened and intimidated by them. Then when I cancelled future dental appointments there (after I scheduled the appointments for my grandchildren with a different dentist office) they reported me to CPS for cancelling the appointments at their office. Worst dental office experience EVER! My grandson was very upset by the time we left even though the dentist himself did a good job of the actual exam.

I liked visiting with the hygienists and techs when I could talk without hands in my mouth and feel like they were interested in me and my concerns. The waiting area is really nice, and often features a DIY or home show and some good magazines. You don't really get to enjoy them though because you don't have to wait long. I like coming here and will continue probably until I don't have any more teeth. Or Dr Ronngren retires.

With that said, Dental Distinctions is my favorite dentist office ever. The staff is friendly, engaging and quite passionate about their work. That in itself is enough to make me happy, but in addition they have state of the art equipment to analyze the teeth and detect issues not only with the teeth and jaw, but also with the airways and tongue. They have helped me greatly with my sleeplessness and to eliminate my snoring. Dr. Nelson is knowledgeable on such a broad level of physical and mental well being she is a pleasure to be around and you feel like you are in the best hands. However, I recently called this office for a vivid image of my nerves that the doctor showed me. That technology is amazing! The receptions don't seem aware of what patients view and definitely need training on listening instead of assuming and lecturing. Patients aren't required to give a reason for wanting their records. They kept asking me why I wanted them. I told them it is my private information and that I didn't need a reason. Felt like a HIPPA violation that they repeatedly demanded it from me. It is my private information. I don't need a reason. Receptionists at doctor offices don't need to know and are not required to know. Then, the receptionists opened my chart to read and lecture me on who to call regarding my dental diagnosis from years ago. Again, felt like a HIPPA violation. I didn't ask them to do that. I didn't give permission to read my chart. I didn't ask for this extraneous info. Done long time ago. All I wanted is for the same image as the one that was shown to me there. Instead, they needed nosy reasons and were nosily reading my chart.

Lego tables and multiple iPads for kids to play with. We went to the bathroom and it's nice and clean. My only suggestion would be to put a stool in the there for the kiddos to wash their hands. There was a minimal wait and Tiffany took us back. She cleaned my 3 years olds teeth and visited with us. She administered nitrous oxide per protocol and answered all my questions. My little guy was super comfy and happy. Calmed right down for the work they were about to do. Next Dr Dawson came in started right away. No time to waste with the little ones. The staff is always so awesome. Really enjoyed coming to this alternate location.

Dr. Anthony and her staff are outstanding dental health care providers. Their commitment to their…read morepatients is obvious when you walk into the waiting room. On my first visit, I was greeted by Jed at the front desk as if I were an old friend. He had me sit while he told Dr. Anthony I had arrived. After a short wait I was led through the door to the examination rooms. There were four or five of them that I could see and as many hygienists or technicians busy at work or moving from one station to the next. There is a an atmosphere of teamwork with players who enjoy working together. The equipment is state of the art and each employee is well-trained in using the machines. I had x-rays taken by DeAn. The pictures were displayed on a computer screen for me and explained. I came in knowing that I needed a crown and the screen verified this. It also revealed that I needed a filling. Dr. Anthony came in to begin my treatment. When she was sure that everything was going well, she let DeAn finish. DeAn explained the process to me as she worked. A mold was made of the tooth where the crown was to be placed. A temporary crown was made for me. It took several tries to get the exact fit, but finally I was able to close my mouth so that my teeth felt natural when I ground them together. Then the temporary crown was cemented in place. My permanent crown is due in from an outside lab on Friday, but I will be returning tomorrow for cleaning. I'll write another review for that visit.
