When Chris Olsen (One of the owners) found out why I had come in, not only did she get me the upcoming class flyers, she went beyond being helpful giving me ideas for teaching. If you need something I'm sure they will have it here. Plants, seeds, fertilizers, soil and little things like pots are available year round. The west side of the building is pretty much dedicated to house plants. Small to large, there is almost always a plant that you are looking for available. I've even bought plants in the middle of winter! During the spring you can grab almost any plant for your garden. They have so many varieties of tomatoes and peppers in multi packs you could buy your garden on one trip. You can buy bare roots for planting as well as seeds if you want to start from ground zero (pun intended.) Check their website to see what the monthly specials are. You can get great discounts at the end of the season on plants as well. Parking is abundant and this place covers a large area. Bigger items like trees and shrubs are outside the actual greenhouse so if you are going to buy items that are larger, you should park around the side by the east gate. It's separated by plant type outside so you can easily navigate to find what you need. Even if you aren't looking to buy something quite yet, just take a walk around the place and see what they have to offer. The staff is so nice and if you have a question (no matter how difficult) there is someone there to help you out. Brad is the man when it comes to plants. He knows the little tricks and tips to growing what you need. They also feature classes to help you become a better gardener and plant person! Bottom line is, come here! It's very likely they will have anything you need related to your plant needs.

This plant nursery has very pretty scenery like sun river garden, lots of plants to pick from. But…read morethat being said it looks like they don't maintain their plants because I saw a lot of dead trees, sick plants and plants of dire need of dead heading. when I did find pretty plants they didn't have a price on it. Some plants did and a lot did not. There were no workers to be found. It was like a ghost town. when I did find the price of the plants they over charged. I go to plant nurseries all over Utah and can find the same plants for half the cost and way more healthy. Shades used to be way better maintained but every time I've stopped by it seems like are becoming less and less maintained. I use to brag about this place but after today I just won't be back until they start to be organized, maintain their plants and have more affordable pricing. They are pricing out their customers.
