Husband goes to request a refund for the food and I go ask to fix the bowling game so we can finish. They state there are no refunds but the sign is not posted where food is ordered and only is on a sign stating where open bowing is prepay. Family next to us gets a whole pizza and nachoes. This was a second separate order we heard them go make. 10 mins later. It's now 6:28 and they bring out the food in to go boxes. We just want a refund because because at that point we got to frame 9 and it turned off again. Manager said he didn't have authority to do a refund because it's on a card. Told us to call back tomorrow to ask the owner. Asked for his information and didn't want to give a last name even though he was the manager. Refund in cash was given after he called the owner who he initially refused to call because the police were called. Police agreed and said if not posted in the place where food is ordered, they'd have to refund. Especially after waiting an hour and a half. Officer also stated he legally should have given his first and last name if he is the manager in charge. Overall, food was slow. Bowling was spotty. Customer service was terrible. read more

This is a good place if you deal with disappointment well. Some buddies and I were visiting the Quad Cities for a guys' trip and wanted to spend the afternoon shooting pool. They refused to give us a pool table stating that a tournament was going on, but fewer than half the tables were being used. We played arcade games for a while as consolation, but almost half the machines didn't work properly. read more

Ehhh....I have learned to not expect much from Davenport in general but this place could use a little revamp and a customer service upgrade. I came in on a Saturday afternoon with my extended family. There was about 10 of us bowling and we all needed shoes. We purchased two lanes for two games. The gentleman at the counter was rude and impatient with us as we tried to figure out how many people were actually bowling and how many shoes we needed. The lanes broke down about 5x and the call button the lane did not work. We tried resetting it ourselves but that did not work either. I had to hunt down the guy to ask for the lane to be serviced. It was not all his fault as he was the only staffer there (other than guy fixing lanes) it appeared so he was working bartender and desk. Every time the hubby & I go back to Iowa to visit his fam, we go out bowling with his high school friends at Miller Time. There are a ton of lanes, & even when it's league night, we've never waited more than 15 minutes for a lane. Rates are cheap as is renting shoes. The only downside is that you reek of stale, cigarette smoke when you leave, but I've been spoiled living in cities that have banned cigarettes in public areas! read more

Bowled in a tournament here over the weekend. Just like the other bowling alley in town the tournament was held at, this one is in the same boat. It's old and needs an update. Settee area kind of cramped. Bar was ok, had some local craft beer selections in bottles and cans so that was a plus. Place is huge though and has a pool hall connected to it. If I lived in the area and was looking for a league to join I would probably keep looking however. read more

This place is kind of a dive but you can't beat the prices. $2.50 for a game of bowling and decently priced drinks. Shoe rentals are $2 and there are plenty of lanes. They miss the 5 star rating because we had a really difficult time finding balls that fit our sizing/weight requirements. We did have a problem with the ball return on our lane working correctly but they did their best to fix it and the staff was friendly and helpful. read more

What a dump! This is a rundown, seedy, gross, dirty old pool/bowling alley that could use a renovation from a bulldozer. I took my family here to celebrate my 6 year old's birth day. We were greeted by a man and his attitude was so poor and sense of customer service so lacking that I actually questioned whether it was part of an act. We were quickly assigned a lane with plenty of room around us but this entire facility looks like something in an outtake from Leaving Las Vegas or Kingpin. I'm serious, the last time that this place received an update was no earlier than 1970. The equipment is old and tired and the lanes are the plastic replacement kind that just don't cut it. When I walked next door to get a beer because our server was too young to serve us, I heard the bartender in the pool hall refuse to turn on the Iowa vs Iowa State game and question the patron who asked by asking "who would want to watch that junk anyway?" Skip this dump and if you need to go bowling, go elsewhere. read more
