Will start off saying the welds and bolt on parts on my Scott's frame are very nice, but…read moreunfortunately the ability to follow a customers build sheet is pretty lacking. If I was buying a front suspension kit I would probably give a 5 star review, but as far as a full frame I can barely justify a half star review. Problems I have with my Super Scam frame are - Rear Rails: The rails were pinched without prior consultation (factory width was requested, although I wasn't charged for this unwanted modification) and they lack the mandatory "double kick" required for the vehicle to lay frame. This necessitates extensive modifications, including installing C-notches and relocating bag and shock mounts to accommodate the required extra 6" of travel.   - Differential Width: The rear differential was built 4 inches narrower than specified.   - Mounting Points: Only three of the eight running board mounting holes were correctly positioned, with several left undrilled.   - Engine and Radiator Fitment: The engine mounts require a 2-inch relocation to accommodate a stock-dimension water pump and radiator without any type of cooling fan. Furthermore, the radiator mount requires cutting and re-welding to achieve the correct angle.   - Plumbing: New brake and fuel lines must now be fabricated to accommodate the necessary frame modifications. I honestly thought that if I built multiple 35-40 Ford frames per year I'd be able to put out a properly built frame. I've emailed, called and sent photos back and forth about the rear of the frame (the only complaint I had addressed) for 2 months before it was admitted that the frame was built incorrectly, and at that time I was told they wanted to help fix the issue and would ship me a C notch and appropriate fuel/brake line and hardware to extend the lines over the C notch for me to install at my cost and time. For two more months biweekly I would call (as my emails got no response) to be told they'd find out what the hold up to ship the required parts was and get back to me, and no response until I called back in two weeks to be told the same thing. After 140 days from the day it was admitted the frame was incorrectly built, I sent a email stating that I was sourcing the required parts locally to address my C notch project, which promptly I was called and sent an email again stating they wanted to help with making it right. I have given up on Scott's to do anything for me, I don't have another 140 days to get the same run around story, it's unfortunate the lack of customer service and willingness to stand behind their work and products. Unfortunately being almost 2000 miles away doesn't give me the option to return the frame to them to rectify the problems so it leaves it up to me to fix all the shortcomings with no compensation.

Had a custom chassis made with engine, tranny, wheel and ride height all forwarded to them. Mounts…read morewere wrong for cab and bed. The ride height was 4" off. The frame had to be rebuilt by another shop. The steering geometry was not even usable. The welds were pretty, but did not penetrate. The frame was very weak and had to completely redo 90% of it. They offer ZERO to correct.

Everywhere I have gone to get estimates, they have told me that its going to cost me close to $400. When I took it to Hot Rods, they only charged me $181.26. Which is a great steal. Im not going to lie, i am a fan of their work, but i also believe that they pick and choose when they want to have good deals. I went there a few weeks back before getting tire rods, about my A/C and they tried to convince me that I needed a new air compressor when I just got a new one a year ago. Hearing this made me a bit iffy about coming back to get any work done. But when they told me that they do front alignments for $35 and $55 for front and back. I couldnt beat that price. They also start thier tire rods at $25. So hearing these prices I couldnt pass that up. I asked a few co-workers about their work and I heard mixed things about them. Similar to what I experenced. Do I reccomend them, Yes! But, I do say take caution when taking your car there. You may get a good price, but they may also pull your leg on price and the work that you need to get done. One positive thing that I can say is that they work very fast. I dropped my car off at 10:30 am. They told me that they wouldnt be able to get to it until the next day. I dropped it off and then at noon that same day, Becky called me and told me that they car was done and ready for pick up. They are only open M-F from 8:00am-4:30PM.

Meant to leave a review a few months ago, but I forgot to, oops!…read more But it works out because I got a lot to say now! Eric is one of the most professional, courteous, nice, helpful, customer oriented, and overall just good dudes I've ever dealt with in the car audio game. E V E R To kinda paint a picture a bit, I've been tinkering with stereos for 30+ years myself, and I could have definitely done my radio install myself on my 07 Ford Mustang, but Im glad I didn't and had Eric help. It's the nicest car I've ever owned, and I didn't want to take a chance at breaking anything out of frustration. Eric came to my house, and had the job done in around two hours, and I had my sound system going again seamlessly. He installed an old Kenwood head unit I had, a 750.1 Autotek amplifier, an old, cobbled-together, heavy, and cumbersome box for two ten inch Massive Audio subwoofers. It did well until my speaker box fell apart (which was 100% my fault keeping it in storage around moisture) and it just disintegrated after a week. Rip speaker box. I just bought a new one online and slapped the 10s in that. Ive since upgraded to a much louder and bigger system, and even Eric was able to assist with wrestling that box in the back of the Mustang as well! As of now, I'm running a 12 inch Memphis Mojo subwoofer in a vented box, paired with a 3500 watt Skar Audio amplifier. (It's now very loud, lol. Car audio stuff is an addiction, I'm convinced it is and you can't tell me different!) So in closing, I would 1000 % recommend Eric for your next car audio job. Oh, and he also helped me out by mailing me back my car registration that I left at his new shop he's now got in Crossville TN, right across the street from Blue Bird auto sales,, when I had him help with the Memphis sub install recently. He didn't have to Mail my registration back to me, but he did anyway and that speaks volumes to me as to the man's character. Dude is a salt-of-the-earth good person and I'm definitely gonna hit him up again if I ever need more work. Posting a pic of my new amp, sadly I ain't snapped any pics of the Memphis sub box that he helped me wrestle into my trunk, or the new cd player though. My cd player we put in at first back in April 2023 also died on me, but it was a 15 year old Kenwood, that I've had in probably five vehicles, I wanna say? She lived a hard life. I snagged one up at Wal Mart and slapped it in. Eric's first dash kit install job made it super easy to yank that old radio out, and put another new radio in too. Did that much and the new Skar Audio amp myself at least too! All in all I am a very happy returning customer, and dealing with Eric made me remember and realize just how much I love working on car audio customization and cars in general. It's fun and therapeutic. A good hobby to get into. Can get expensive though! I know from experience
