He gave me an estimate quickly & easily, but I had to call and text several times to get any response from when he would come to do the work. I would guess about 6 weeks later he did the work. I had requested the stump to be removed, but he didn't do that. I ended up calling a stump remover to finish the work Big Orange didn't complete. read more

These guys are extremely efficient, very courteous, professional, and perform excellent work. They removed 4 trees, trimmed one large tree, ground the stumps, and cleaned up in less than 3 hours. One tree was very challenging (close to a house, a couple of fences, and other trees), and they handled it without an issue. The cleanup was superb. It took a few reschedules to get them out (due to rain and such), but once they were able to come, the job was done right. Contacted them and they came right out to give an estimate. They told me several times they would be out to do the job ans never showed up. After five months they came back out gave the same estimate and told me they would be out and never showed. I have contacted them and they say they had me on the scheduled and never show. I read the reviews about them not showing up and I have been through the same thing with Jason. He came out, gave me a price. I said OK and ask him to give me 2 or 3 days notice so I could adjust my work schedule. He was suppose to come in the fall and do a huge tree and prune 9 fruit trees.I started calling him in November,2021. I got a text a few weeks later after I had to call again and he texted back that his crew would be here in 2 days and I ask him for the following week because I had a day I couldn't change. Then I never hear back and start texting him again. This went on until Feb. of 2022 until it was too late to touch my fruit trees. Has really messed me up. He did some trees here before. He does good work but totally unreliable. Must be nice to have so much work to pick from that you don't have to return calls, show up or do customer service. read more

Jason has done tree work at my home twice now. First was a tree-trimming. He came within a day of initial contact for a quote, and did the job within a week. He and his guys made quick work of several dead limbs that were hanging over my driveway/house. The second was for the removal of two trees. Again, Jason was prompt about coming for a quote, and we agreed on a later date for the removal to accommodate my schedule. He and his crew did excellent work on a day that most would probably not have. Other than two stumps and some sawdust, he left no evidence of his work. I had the same experience as some of the reviews. Jason quoted me a price and said he would be out on Wednesday. He was a no show and not even a courtesy call. That was the last I heard of him. I had a similar experience. I have a very large elm that needs the limbs trimmed from over my house. He came out and was very polite and said he would get back to me with a quote. He quoted the job via text and that was the last I heard of him. He has not returned any calls or texts. I would have been ok with him backing out of the work but he could at least been mature about it. Would not recommend him. Had Jason come out to do an estimate. He gave us a quote via email. We notified him that we were chosing him to do the job. He said he would contact us regarding a date. The weather being April weather, he was unable to get out to do the tree. I contacted him to rescheduled a time. He never responded with a time. He shows up to my home unexpectedly, he brought some co-workers over to look at the tree. Before he left, he told me they were going to start on the tree the following day. I have not heard from him since. This has been 2 weeks ago. I have text him, i left him a message, trying to give him the benefit of the doubt, to no avail. Yes, the tree is very large, yes, its close to the home. No, its not an easy job....So, all that being said, Im not sure its good business to just not show up or respond...wouldnt bother w/ contacting them..dont waste your time. read more
