But, what the heck, it's an oil-change shop, right? Well, you know what? You don't have to put up with that! And the Jiffy Lube in Sedalia showed me that. :) The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. They were pleasant and made me feel comfortable and welcome. The waiting room was clean and cozy with complimentary water and coffee. (This Jiffy Lube is attached to a BreakTime, so I opted to go next door and purchase a fountain drink.) Wait time was short and I was informed of what they did to my vehicle and why. I felt involved in my car's maintenance. The price was a little higher than what I pay from the greasy oil-change places, but the guys at Jiffy Lube performed extra services, such as washing the windows, vacuuming the floors and topping off fluids, which doesn't happen at the places I used to frequent. I loved the experience and I will be back in 3 months or 3,000 miles, whichever comes first. :)

Then said I needed the air filter replaced on my less than two year old car which also happened to be what they told the customer before me. They also charged me $10 more than they quoted me for the filter. I was not impressed with their professionalism and then they removed the marker I use to position my car in my garage and also reset one setting on my dashboard. I used to love and trust this Midas location under the previous owners but will not be returning under this new ownership.

They sold me on a $6k lift and when I took it back to them because the suspension felt loose and it was still under warranty, they kept it for an entire week (did nothing to it) and when I picked it up again they told me the rack and pinions were bad (because of the lift), it was unsafe to drive, that it needed to be replaced ASAP, and the total job would be $3k with $2k paid up front. I took it somewhere else and found that every bolt on the new lift was loose, paid $800 to have their work buttoned up, labor and material that Midas should have warrantied. I wouldn't trust them with a Lego set. They are the stereotype of a crooked auto shop.

The staff (especially, James) were upfront with estimates and worked with me on the overall price. They restored the car to pass state inspection, but told me I needed to get different tires than the ones I ordered. I had a diagnostic test at another automotive shop and they told me, "your oil pan is leaking like a sieve". I never got any such indication or information from Clark's Tires. How hard would it have been for a mechanic to inform me of such? As a former Store Manager I understand what customer service and just how necessary it is. Please change your ways, Clark Tires!

I recently took my 2014 SS Sedan in for some warranty work and I'd like to tell you a bit about the experience... First off... I worked with Peter in the service department for the Recall service my car needed, and the few other mechanical warranty concerns. He never batted an eye at my somewhat "perfectionist" requests. They stored my car inside at night as I requested, and made sure that I was 100% satisfied with how my baby was being treated. He even put me in a BRAND NEW (3 Miles!!) GMC Sierra Crew Cab 4 Wheel Drive as a loaner. Secondly... My car was left in the care of Justin at the body shop. Again... He kept me informed, and took excellent care of my baby the entire time it was there. The work performed was excellent quality, and again... They went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my car. Finally... I had considered trading the car in after spending some time in their loaner truck... I worked with Daniel in sales. He was never pushy, worked an amazing deal, and always worked to make sure my questions or concerns were addressed. Even though we didn't end up closing a deal in the end...
